Hilo Poke & Sushi

Love this new location closer to home! Same great Poke, sushi, sushi burritos, etc. as the R-house. They share a counter with Thai Landing so you can get your Hawaiian/Japanese/Thai on all in one place!They have pre made combos or build your own. They're quick and do a very brisk carry-out business. Come in and get something yummy when you're in the area! Or make a special trip, Belvedere Square has something for everyone.

I went here for lunch today as they just opened in the Belvedere Market near my office. I ordered a poke bowl. Firstly, I was given a tiny piece of paper to circle what I wanted in my bowl. The writing was so small it was difficult to read. I then waited at least 25 minutes for it to be made while it seemed like others orders were put ahead of mine. When I finally got my poke bowl, it was not good. I asked for brown rice, pineapple, ahi tuna, and cucumber. The only thing that was fully edible in the bowl was the rice and cucumber. The pineapples were very obviously from a can and very sweet with an odd flavor and the tuna was not fresh. I was disappointed knowing that I payed over $15 for this. I would not recommend eating here.

I got the chicken dumplings, and playboy roll-both were SO GOOD. please check this place out
