This place is huge! They have ceiling high amounts of alcohol. I was impressed. They have every kind of section you can think of and a bunch of drinks I've never even heard of. I went here because someone told me they were cheaper but they weren't. They were average and didn't have the rare stuff I was looking for. I will be back tho.

This spot is WAY BIGGER than you think. Just looking at it from the outside is deceiving. I've been looking for some watermelon pucker (which I don't understand why it's so hard to find) and thought I'd try my luck here. They didn't have it, but I found a new liquor store! This place has all my favorites and plenty more to try. It'll be added to my list. ALSO, of importance as well, the staff is courteous.

Hilltop has an AMAZING selection of wine and noticeably cheaper prices for some of my favorites. I probably pass three liquor stores in Crofton to get to it but their prices and selection are unbeatable so it is worth the trip.

Life; we live it, but is it any good? This store indeed attributes to the goodness of what life can be with its low prices and surprisingly great selection. Though the somewhat narrow parking spaces may add an ounce of stress to your day, you will be happy to know its eradication is imminent from the results of your purchase at this store.I give Hilltop Wine & Spirits five stars.

Don't let the bare bones aesthetic design turn you off. There is a lot of variety in this store.Their prices on the wines I like are lower here than Total Wine in Laurel and Crescent or Rip's in Bowie. The Coors Light Cans price is the same as or better than Total Wine and lower than other Bowie stores. If you don't see what you are looking just ask, the staff (Sam, John and Victor) is quite helpful. And, they are open on Sunday.

I asked the store rep which cigar was the most mild and he identified one in their selection. I purchased and the cigar was very strong. I looked up the brand and it was very robust (strong). I went back with the cigar and requested another. The manager told me that this was my issue. He is right except for the fact that the store rep specifically told me which one was mild. Misleading information with no accountability. Will not shop there again.

Although this store has a wide variety and good prices, the employees are not very friendly. I've been buying from this store for years and they barely say anything to me when I check out. Only one employee was ever friendly and that one time was the only time I ever saw him working there. On 12/4/20 at 9:55 AM, I made a liquor purchase. I was the only customer at the register. When the employee began to ring up the purchase, I told him I also wanted a lottery ticket. The employee who was running the lottery machine, which was only a few feet away from the register, was standing right next to him and he wasn't waiting on any customers at the time. The first employee told me I had to go around the corner (of the counter) to purchase the lottery ticket.I thought to myself, "Really?" The lottery machine employee was just standing there with his hands in his pockets doing nothing. I thought to myself, "He can't print out a lottery ticket for me while I'm making the purchase?" But, I did as I was told and went around to the end of the counter. I asked for $6 for Mega Millions and handed the employee a $20 bill. Instead of printing a ticket for $6, he printed a $10 ticket. I almost told him I didn't want $10. But, then I thought I'd kick myself later if the winner numbers were on that ticket. So, I didn't say anything to him about the mistake he had just made and accepted the $10 ticket. But, then what he did really ticked me off. Instead of handing my change to me, he threw the $10 bill on the counter in front of me.Right then and there I decided I would never buy from this store again. I'll pay $2 or $3 more somewhere else for the items I normally purchased every time I went there. The only reason I've even giving them a 2 star rating is because they do have a wide variety, especially since they've moved to their current location from within the same shopping center, and good prices.
