Hilltop Pizza and Subs

The guy making food and the guy handling cash at the register is the same guy With no gloves in between the two jobs. Speaking of, The register literally looks like it came out of a sewer. Didn't have my phone to take a pic. 3 registers and none of the card readers work. Will have to watch my account the next couple of days. I only ate because I paid online first. Ordered a grilled chicken garden salad. For some reason they like to serve their salad fresh out of the food warmer. Served with Ken's dressing, idk how Ken's is still business. Cheese on the pizza is the cheapest I ever tasted. Will not return

I've tried Hilltop in the past but it's been a while. Yesterday, I need a slice and swung in but didn't get the impression that "slices" were apart of the offering. With that the guy peaked in the back and said, "I got one" and did a reheat and boxed it up. While I waited I noticed the menu had a huge complement of breakfast and sandwiches. Today I grabbed a bacon, egg, cheese on toast and it was awesome and quick. As for yesterday's slice, it was decent if you like garlic, which I don't mind. The breakfast sammich was a 5/5.

Awesome food every time. Their cheese is phenomenal. We order there twice a month. Food is consistently perfect.

Ordered a large meat lovers pizza and a gyro last night. Very, very good. The only reason I gave three stars was price. The pizza and gyro came to $25, decent price for what I got but by the time it was delivered, 0.2 miles to my hotel, the cost had gone up to $35. They have more extras. One of them was explained as an innovation fee? $2.99 delivery fee, I should have picked it up myself, according to Google maps it is a 4 minute walk. Anyway, very good food but keep an eye on your bill.

Updated review 10.28.2022. I have ordered from here more times than I'd like to admit and I've truly fallen in love with the food. I've never had anything that I didn't enjoy. But tonight, I decided to treat myself to a cheat day and got their baklava cheesecake. Y'all. This is the best cheesecake I've ever had in my life. I mean it is literally the best of both desserts in one. Perfect about of sweetness, nice creamy cheesecake, flaky top phyllo layer, just absolute perfection. I have a feeling it will be my go to cheat meal lol.

Great food. It's the to go to place for breakfast delivery. Their breakfasts are delicious. They have great prices too. Our favorites are sausage gravy, egg breakfast, french toast, BLT club, best potato skins ever and the same can be said for the rice pudding. Their delivery people are quick and friendly. I highly recommend you give it a try.

Food is excellent and prepared as you wait. The Lamb Gyro are some of the best I've had. If you like calzones, get the meat eaters . If you need to gave it delivered, it took me about 20 minutes to get it, still hot.

The pizza is very satisfying. We stopped here driving back to NYC so it was really random. The service was slow but the pizza was delicious. It is a good place to stop. We got the veggie pizza and were very pleased. It was a big pie and we had some slices left over to take on the go.

Very good pizza and fast service!! I am from Michigan and we come to Abingdon a few times a year. I will definitely be coming back here for more pizza. Done exactly how I like it.

Small but great place. Ordered a pizza to go, it was ready within 10 minutes and it tasted great. Great value, strongly recommend.
