Glad to have this place close by! Great selection of seafood, even have whitefish salad, which is very hard to find locally. The staff is very friendly and all the fish we have purchased from here has been excellent and fresh. The store is clean and well taken care of. I like that they also have asparagus, lemons and other items available to purchase so you don't even have to stop at the grocery store to make dinner. Only con is that, as expected, is a bit pricey. But we don't mind given the quality.

After eating at home for the last month, we were all looking for a change of pace. Was looking for seafood and fish since it was Good Friday for us yesterday. Decided to take a chance on Hill's. Had never tried it even though it's not far from our house. Ordered two flounder stuffed with crab, 1 lb of sea scallops, 1 lb of large cocktail shrimp that were cleaned and cooked. Also wanted to try their crab cake and a cod cake. Everything was delicious and fresh. Crab cake was very good and at 8.99 competitively priced for quality and size. We all liked the cod cake. Never had one before but it was tasty and would get again. Priced at 4.99 you can't go wrong. For a family of 4 cost was $84 and we had food leftover. So we will be back for sure. Now what really added to the experience and cemented me as a new customer was how they handled the no contact delivery of the food. It was seamless and all food establishments should look to them as an example. When I called to order, I inquired about the process since I did not want to come in the store or have to worry about payment at pickup. I spoke to Brendan who was very nice. He answered all my questions and since some the things had to be weighed, said he would call me back and take my credit card at that time. After he called I went to pick up. I was greeted by a very nice young lady who you could tell was making a point of keeping her distance. Both girls outside had masks and gloves on. I popped the trunk. Food was placed inside and after tipping her I was on my way. Hills has put thought into how to handle business in this climate. I was certainly made to feel comfortable and commend them for their efforts. One recommendation for Hills is to post pictures of your display cases. Since I've never been to the store, I don't know what broccoli salad or some of the other things looks like for example. I think that would increase sales and potential for new customers

I don't live here, my sister driving me around doing errands we had some lunch (see Rams diner). I've been thinking what I needed to do for dinner, for Dad tonight. Right across the street from our gas stop was Hills fresh seafood market. Perfect! I went in believing the place was named Gill's, I thought how clever a name but it's Hills Seafood, oh well right. The store was very well kept, a display as long as the store is wide and lots of seafood waiting to be taken home. I chose some Coho salmon as I prefer it to the farm raised Atlantic salmon. (not going to get into that argument here). I got some 8-10 cooked shrimp for our starter cocktail too.Hum...Broccoli salad and a lemon filled the bag. A bit pricy naw, 3 for a seafood dinner under $50, I'll take it. The person helping was knowledgeable and courteous too.I wished the store was closer there were a few other varieties I'd like to have tried, maybe on my next visitfoodguy-martin

I love Hill's as it's right around the corner from my home and they have the BEST selection of fresh seafood. I'm not a fan of buying seafood days before I make it so this is my go to spot when I need something that day to make for dinner. The staff is ALWAYS very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend the broccoli salad, New green bean salad and the seafood salad. I've tried them all and taken them to work for food days and they have all been a hit. The Manager (Female-Dark Hair) is very nice and knows her store and products very well. You cannot go wrong with quality seafood at a great price. Stop in and I promise you will be pleasantly surprised but what Hill's has to offer.

I normally don't shop at Hills however given this current situation it seemed to be the easiest. Two weeks in a row I had asked for Atlantic salmon and both weeks they gave me extremely poor pieces of sockeye. I rarely post reviews but this fish was so disgusting it compelled me to write something. Two pieces for $25 and it was not edible. The second week I asked for Norwegian and they told me that they had run out-I am not a big fan of sockeye- even though it's supposed to be a better cut. I figured the first week was just an anomaly however my second purchase was even worse.I applaud that they're open and they're trying to serve the public however I don't know if they are backed up with too much fish and selling Bad fish.Hills has always been overpriced and I stopped going there once Whole Foods opened - I will take the risk and get fresh seafood from them from now on

7/25/15... Worst customer service I have every received at any of the Hills Seafood I frequent. The manager in duty that afternoon was rude ignorant and did not even seem to care what I was asking him. My wife had ordered a bushel of crabs for a special party. When I went to pick them up they gave me 3 brown paper bags of crabs. Issue number 1 ... How to tell a bushel of crabs in paper bags.... Number 2 they were cooked..... The managers reply was this is the way we always do it. My wife would have never bought then had she known they were cooked. I called my wife they never told her that... When I questioned him his reply was if I had to tell all my customers that I wouldn't have time.... Wait... Aren't you in business to serve your customers? His final reply was "well what do you want to do buddy", with an attitude like I was bothering him. I needed the crabs for a party so I took them but I will never ever shop in there stores again.
