Gross sushi. Even the Wasabi is garbage and the ginger is something unlike anything else (in a bad way).

Hubby & I ended up here for lunch 1 day. That day was a good day, but unfortunately, it appears that the experiences may vary as my 2nd time dining here with a friend was not consistent with my first. This buffet merely serves its purpose. The price is definitely a highlight. Very affordable. The food selection is impressive. Various, fresh sushi options (Being prepared as you look on), a Made-To-Order hibachi station with multiple protein & veggie choices. And lastly, a full spread of hot and cold Asian and American cuisine selections. Varying from pizza, mashed potatoes, MD crab soup, fried chicken & fish, to Singapore rice noodles, Egg Drop soup, wontons, a full cold, salad bar & desserts. There are fully stocked, food options for any palate. The inconsistency lies in the restaurant's cleanliness. The 1st time it was clean and smelled like food. The 2nd time I had to have them wipe off the table prior to seating us, and there was an old/ dirty water smell lingering. This was such a disappointment because I paid and was seated before I smelled it, and despite the odor the food still tasted yummy and fresh. The staff were friendly and accommodating both visits. Plenty of free parking. I hope they take heed to these reviews and do better with the restaurant upkeep as they are not lacking in food quality or taste. They have potential.

Took a friend here to celebrate her birthday. She must think I hate her now.Three types of shrimp and none of them were worth a damn. The ones with the jalapeños were decent, but could have used some old bay or seasoning of any kind. No cocktail sauce to be found. The other shrimp were mushy.Jeremy tried several different Chinese dishes, claiming that each was worse than the previous. Our friends each ate one little plate of the weirdest stuff, like Texas toast. The dessert selection was small, but I did enjoy the chocolate cake and spice cake.Left still hungry but wasn't about to make my friends sit there doing nothing while I tried to find something edible.

The food and the service isn't worth the buffet price. Lukewarm food and some of the food was bland. The only thing that tastes fresh was the green beans. After my meal, one of the waitresses came to clean the table. She wasn't the young lady that served our drinks and cleaned our plates. As I was getting up to look for the other waitress, the one cleaning made a gesture towards the tip plate and asked "No tip?". I showed her the cash in my hands and pointed to the other young lady I was going to give it to. She started to apologize. She should be embarrassed for jumping to conclusions. I gave the tip to the other young lady and left.Won't be back. I rarely do buffets anyway but when I do go to one in the future, it will never be this one again.

They have the lowest price I've seen in years for a buffet. A steal at $14 and $11 for seniors. Their seniors start at 60. They had a decent selection but the floors were slippery and littered. There were no gloves and kids running around. The highlight was they gave my uncle a birthday cake and sang to him. For the price it's a bargain for sure. Wait staff was friendly, the front was nice as well. The hibachi never asked how I wanted it cooked and was too busy to hear anything I said. It wasn't terrible but I've definitely had better hibachi. Overall the food gets a 3.5/5 and the cleanliness and ambiance a 1.5/5. Service was a 4/5.Price is 5/5. I heard this is the best buffet in the area.

As far as buffets go this is a good solid place. It didn't smell, like a lot of lower quality buffets do when you walk in. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is plentiful and no bin sat empty too long. We went during lunch rush during the week and we were seated quickly, all the stations were fully stocked and filled up as needed. Even though there were a ton of construction workers from the parking lot repaving crew there on lunch break it was always easy to get what we wanted. The variety of offerings was astounding soup, Chinese appetizers, sushi, lots of fish choices, and a table full of American fare, dessert, fruit, and soft serve ice cream. My 91 year old Mom gives it her seal of approval, and I agree. Bon appetit.

Service was excellent I wish I could say the same for the food. Most of the food was cold or overcooked. Hopefully it was an off day I will give this place another try and provide an update in the future.

I'm normally a big fan of Chinese buffets, lemme tell you. This was the absolute WORST buffet I have been to in my life. It was extremely busy, the line was out of the door for over 2 hours! The food was very cheap quality and honestly nothing I ate was good. From the looks of the buffet, it looks like it would be a great selection. Ugh, do not go here.Filthy and bad service. You need to wait outside for an hour just for a crappy selection of food. I'm not sure how someone could mess up eggrolls, but I took one bite and didn't eat the rest. That was a very common theme in this buffet.

******FRESH REVIEW FOR 2023!!*****KEY DETAILS Dinner for adults, 16.99 (discounts for seniors and young children, drinks not included [2.99], made to order hibatchi included, sushi bar included)THE GOOD: Great variety and quality for the price - friendly staff tooTHE BAD: Not much, avoid Sundays - mobbed, but that in itself is a compliment Hi All,If you can't tell from the immediate tone, I LOVE this place. As a proud Marylander, I go here 2-3xs a month. I go because I leave full and satisfied knowing it was money well spent. They have a delectable variety of dishes with plenty for all preferences and diets. Whether you are strict low carb, looking for healthy options, or just don't care and want to savor it all - this is the place. Let me say, if you love seafood, one modest plate of huge hardshell crabs, crawfish and mussels alone will easily cover the price. They have a fairly stacked salad bar with sauces and desserts (fruits, cakes, pudding and more). They have a fantastic made-to-order hibatchi bar, and of course all the favorite Chinese take-out stars. Like fried chicken and shrimp? Don't waste your money at chains, they have it here and it's better. Not looking to sit? Save some money with convienient take out. Finally, the staff is very friendly and they work hard to keep your table clear and the restaurant clean. Enjoy! I do - every time.Give Grand Habatchi in Glen Bernie, MD a try. For the price, it's a great value and a fun dining experience for families of all sizes.

I will start by saying any review for this place above 1 star is utterly shocking! I was also surprised how many people were there. My family and I were purchasing new furniture last night and decided to check this place out. Probably one of the worst decisions of my life. When walking in, the staff was rude and I immediately said "maybe we should go someplace else", but we were all starving. The place was extremely dirty, like EXTREMELY. When was the last time they ran a vacuum? The food was awful - the only thing that was half decent was the miso soup. They didn't ask how to cook your hibachi so my steak was very well done and hard to chew. Within 30 minutes, we all started to feel sick. I went to the bathroom where I was greeted with used bloody pads and tampons. Not sure if no one cleans the bathroom or they just dont care. All 3 of us have been sick for the last 12 hours and will be reporting to the health department. I cannot believe this place is in business and hasn't been shut down.
