Delicious!! Just had the teriyaki chicken! I looooove the Mac salad they throw in there. With my brand new gut issues, it was very friendly. I ate far too much rice too. I couldn't stop myself. They have the guava canned drinks as well. I've always been obsessed with them. It was buy 1 get one free. Can't beat that!

I have been here a few times as it reminds me of home (Hawai'i). This is the only place where I can find Hawaiian sun drinks and the food is just like local food back home. They offer plate lunches that include white rice and macaroni salad. When you walk in, you order with the cashier and they bring the food out to you. The place is a decent size with seating to dine in and seat yourself for up to 20 people. Today, I ordered the chicken combo (BBQ chicken and Katsu chicken) for my husband and the BBQ short ribs mini plate for me. The food was good and hot and seasoned just the way I remember it. If you want good Hawaiian style plate lunches and to not have to pay for a plane ticket to Hawai'i, this place is for you.

My husband and I had a taste for poke, but didn't feel like driving to get it ourselves. Luckily, Uber Eats came through with the WIN!! Halo Hawaiian may very well be my new favorite place for poke! Good stuff! My husband ordered his with spicy tuna, while I had shrimp. The fact that you can add so many ingredients, including proteins, for a flat price is AMAZING! All of the ingredients were fresh and tasty! I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl! Will definitely be ordering from here more often!

The food is so delicious. I was craving spam masubi having been here before and it absolutely hit the spot. We got each of the three masubi, the loco moco, and katsu curry. I've been there twice and never had anything bad. The service has always been good too.

First time visitor - stopped in on a whim. The food was amazing!! Portions are generous and hearty. The service was polite and the food came out quickly. The place was clean and delightfully quiet. Highly recommend!

Prices were eye-poppingly cheap. As someone who's lived for several years in Oahu, this spot has good vibes. Chicken was seasoned and cooked well. Got the mac salad right. Just wish the Kahlua Pork wasn't so dry. Added some bone broth and recooked it at home to fix it. Could be better. That pork just didn't leave a good impression.

Halo Hawaiian is located within a strip mall, it is a casual dining experience with friendly service and flavorful food. However, the inside was not very clean, which detracted from the overall experience. The decor features tropical elements, creating an inviting environment despite the cleanliness issues.I ordered two plates: the garlic shrimp and bbq combo. The Garlic Shrimp Plate had shrimp in a rich, aromatic garlic sauce. The dish is served with two heaping scoops of rice, steamed veggies, and a macaroni salad. While the macaroni salad was a bit bland, the overall plate was satisfying and flavorful. The BBQ Combo Plate includes a variety of tender, juicy, and well-marinated grilled meats. The smoky and savory flavors of the meats were delicious! Again, the macaroni salad was a cool contrast to the savory dishes, but it was bland and could use more seasoning.If you're looking for a laid-back eatery with a taste of Hawaiian cuisine, Halo Hawaiian is a decent choice, especially if you are in the Arbutus area!

D ordered this place for her birthday party, and the musubi was yummy, so we decided to be head here for lunch with Amy and Zach. I ordered a customizable poke bowl that had spicy tuna as the main protein with a bunch of sides and delicious sauces. We had the gyoza as well and the Hawaiian bbq short ribs. They do have Pepsi products, so be mindful of that. Definitely will be back Jake n kev
