Tired of the same 'ol' artery clogging food choices? I was, so I ducked into Greenbar in Ft Washington, MD. Reggie (with two G's he joking told me) waited on me and put together not only an amazingly healthy meal but an amazing experience. Reggie was personable, asked me what I'd like, and gave suggestions. What he put together was a "Harry Met Sally" moment! You know, "I'll have what she's having!" Everything was fresh, the restaurant was clean and inviting with plenty of spaces to eat. At the time I ordered my "experience" there wasn't any bread available. No biggie. I was enjoying the combination of fresh spinach, perfect cherry tomatoes, shaved Parmesan cheese, cubed sweet potatoes (can you stand it!) and chicken marinated and cooked perfectly. Before long Reggie (two G's) brings me a hot roll fresh out of the oven. Nirvana. Greenbar in Ft Washington is THE place to be. Be good to yourself and Bon Apatite!

Fresh salad/bowl place that was fulfilling and enjoyable... quick service, was a little salad that they didn't have dressing that was suppose to be with my order but my substitution was great. I took my order to go to beat traffic but it was a cute little spot to enjoy lunch. My meal was still warm when I got home which was about 20 mins away. Will be back.

This was much needed in the community...something different from seafood, friend chicken & Chinese. I love a good salad spot. The interior reminded me of Sweet Green in Pentagon City. The staff was friendly and professional.The restaurant is super clean, accommodating and nice. I reduced a star because I placed a pick up order of salad 45 mins ahead of time while receiving services at Herbal Infusions... when I arrived, I wasn't sure who I should approach for my online order.Since there two customers ahead of me, I patiently waited only to find out my order was not fulfilled. So I wanted a few minutes, which was okay for today since I wasn't in a rush.I hope this was a one-time lapse in judgement but I do plan to come back.Also, their shrimp salad consists of large shrimp.

Amazing salad! Great options and customer service. Spring mix salad with shrimp and chocked, boiled egg, craisins, carrots, cucumbers, mixed nuts and cheese. To die for, so good

Ooooommmmmgggg!!!! I cannot rave enough about how fabulous Greenbar is!!!! After seeing them highlighted on the news I knew I had to get here asap and I'm sooooo glad I did!! Greenbar is making it easy and tasty to eat green!!! ICYMI ~ they are a new fast fresh, farm to table spot and it's one you need to add to you're "must try" list!! Determined to bring a healthy, accessible and affordable food option, they opened their doors aimed at serving clean food to the community!!Whether it's greens or grains, there's something sure to tantalize your taste buds!! You can choose from one if the various passion bowls on the menu or you can create your own bowl to include a base of greens, grains or both along with a heaping selection of toppings to chose from!!! Whatever you chose to chomp on, I highly recommend the Lemon Garlic Salmon, Sweet + Spicy Shrimp or the Panko Shrimp as your protein!! Plus I was excited to see that they have Saratoga Carbonated water, IYKYK and if ya don't, grab one and you'll see what I mean!!! The interior is clean and minimal!! There is seating if you want to dine in as well!! Staff is so pleasant and took their time as they crafted my bowl. I did like that they were understanding when I asked to wait for more salmon to come out which was not a long wait at all!! So run on over to Greenbar and get in on all this yummy goodness!!!

I was so excited that this place was black owned and had healthier options than alot of places in the area, but things changed at the counter. I've supported at least 5 times and today I walked out and said I'll never be back. It's a high turnover always a new worker who doesn't know what they are doing and you are met with attitude and even adding one simple olive to your salad is an upcharge. One day I'm charged for bread the next its included like the menu says. It's nerve wrecking and already overpriced. I really wanted to expect better but when you can't even get a cup of water after spending money that adds to all the other problems. Not worth the headache

Last time ever going. A couple of weeks ago, we asked , as usual for our rice to be on a separate bowl. But this last trip, I got a rack of crap about how much the extra bowl cost and no one should be allowing it without charging for the extra bowl . Put it in a dang was bag for all I care , just separate it. As much as they charge for their Salads, they should be hugging anyone who wants it. Keep all your bowls Greenbar, we're never returning.

First of all, I am so happy that there is a healthy spot in this area. IT IS NEEDED!! Second, Greenbar is a total vibe! Fresh food, beautiful spot, and kind staff. It does not get much better than that. I tried the crispy shrimp bowl. It was delicious. It wasn't quite as filling as some of the other bowls I have had from other spots, but still very good. My hubbs had the citrus salmon bowl and loved his. He felt full with his bowl and side of bread. Overall, this spot is a win and I am so happy they have opened in their location. We will be back for more in the near future!!

First time here I got the Kale Caesar Bowl* and I love the portions and the proportion of each ingredient. The dressing was supposed to be cilantro, but I didn't really taste it and maybe because I love a lot of cilantro, and it just wasn't enough cilantro taste for me. The ladies behind the counter were prompt, and readily took my order and prepared it. The bread was definitely freshly made and soft though I wish it was a little bit more sweeter. The dining area is very clean and tidy. I didn't see any recycling containers, though, when discarding my containers.
