Green Leaf

We popped in for an early dinner. Winnie suggested I try something different. She always has the best suggestions. She was spot on tonight. I had the Thai Basil Shrimp. I had said I wanted something with mushrooms. So, she had the chef add some mushrooms to the dish. This dish had a savory light sauce coating an array of vegetables. There were green beans, broccoli, asparagus, red, green and yellow peppers, and mushrooms along with 8 large pieces of shrimp. It also came with white rice. Can I tell you I now have another favorite dish! I think Winnie is going to have me working my way thru their entire menu and I am delighted to do so. My husband had his usual - Crispy Jumbo Shrimp, which never disappoints. It was so nice to see Bianca and Kevin as well as the owners again. They are always so welcoming. You really should give this restaurant a try - you will not be disappointed.

Serving the very best in traditional and healthy sushi, Japanese, & Thai. The staff is amazing and the owners are warm and friendly. Always a great experience !

This is our go-to sushi spot in Baltimore County, and we've even gotten our friends and family hooked! The sushi is always fresh and the flavors are fantastic - the deluxe sashimi is incredible, and our favorite sushi rolls are the 12th Year and Sushi Sister rolls. We also love the Green Leaf Dumpling Soup, and haven't had an entree we didn't love! We take out often, but also really enjoy dining in. The service is outstanding! It can get busy, so reservations are helpful. And, it's BYOB, so you can pop by the liquor store in the same shopping center (which is also awesome), grab some sake, and enjoy a great meal!

Always a great meal. Attentive and friendly service. Really great people. Always a family favorite for special and casual occasions. Our go-to meals always include tuna tartar and one of the anniversary rolls. This visit included the three-year anniversary roll...hard to beat. It has seaweed salad, octopus, and tuna, served over a sliced tempura rice roll and all served on a plate. The other 15 anniversary rolls are also a real treat. Sometimes it's hard to decide, but this day three-year won the day.

Food is 5 stars! They have a Bar salad that is a must for me when I hit the Cockeysville area. Its a seaweed and crab type salad mix that is just wonderful. Their menu has a great variety PLUS many sushi/sashimi options Relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff!

Excellent food quality and fresh ingredients always consistent great service with a smile and very friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend the Green Leaf Restaurant.

We ordered take out from here recently and were really disappointed. We barely had enough rice for the dishes we ordered. My husband ordered the beef and broccoli and thought it was ok. I tried a sushi roll with shrimp "two to tango" I believe it was called but it was only ok. I used to go to this place and always enjoyed it but did not truly enjoy the take out and would not get it again especially for the price.

It's almost unfair for me to write a review of this restaurant, whose food I have been enjoying for over a decade. Obviously I am not going to have bad things to say about a place which has kept me happy for so long.There must be 10 sushi restaurants up and down the York Road corridor, but Green Leaf is the best. I have never had a meal there that I didn't like and the service is great, the staff friendly. Prices are reasonable.My particular favorites are the 5th year roll, the miso soup, the Singapore Noodles (with chicken), and the vegetable tempura, but there are many many other items to choose from, including a huge variety of rolls, sashimi, and other dishes.If you want sushi -- or just plain good Asian fusion food -- in the Cockeysville / Lutherville area, this is the place to go. It's that simple.

Very nice and clean restaurant. After reading reviews, we went for Thai food. Chicken Pad Thai was very good and so was the Thai seafood with curry. Service was outstanding. Will return to try sushi and Japanese items next time.
