Greek Village Carry Out

I decided to try Greek Village one day since it's right by the nail salon I go to. While the food was good, it wasn't anything spectacular. I do wish I had known beforehand that they're cash-only--it was inconvenient to have to leave, go to the bank, and come back, especially since I had already placed my order over the phone.The restaurant itself was pretty hot inside and doesn't have much space, which didn't make for the most comfortable experience. Another issue is that no one ever seems to answer the phone. I've tried to place an order multiple times since my first visit, but I could never get through, which has discouraged me from wanting to try this place again.Overall, the food was okay, but with the cash-only policy, lack of responsiveness, and the overall experience, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.

Went to this establishment because of a recommendation from a family member. It's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. It is a small whole in the wall place. We walked up and there were people waiting and people came in after us, definitely a local hit spot. I ordered the chicken Philly 1/2 sub with an order of fries. And my parents ordered the fried fish 1/2 sandwich. So the chicken Philly was just okay, I felt like it could have used more mayo and the chicken was chopped very small so it kept falling out of the sandwich. The seasoning was a little heavy handed but it could just be my taste buds. The fries were decent. I will say the 1/2 subs are big enough to share, I split mine in half a shared with my 7yr old.My parents also stated their fish sandwich was just okay.We will probably not return to this establishment, mainly because it's not close to where we live. If we're ever in the area again we may try it again but I would get something else.

This is not the same place I remember when I lived in the area. Food:There was 4 of us, one person ordered chicken shrimp cheesesteak, the rest of us ordered regular shrimp cheesesteak. Well we all got chicken shrimp cheesesteaks. The shrimp were incredibly small, and tasteless. The meat on the sub wasn't seasoned at all. ServiceIt was fast, the cooks were friendly, but the order as mentioned was wrong. AmbianceThis was nothing special, just a takeout spot. I was surprised to see that they are a cash only establishment.

I've been going to Greek village for 30 plus years.They have amazing gyros and saladsI love their tuna salad on garden salad The gyro is off a spit and is the best in the area not the thin pieces it's chunks of meat. They only take cash as far as I know unless that changed recently. They can be busy on the weekend evenings but the wait isn't too bad. It's located in a strip mall with a parking lot- there aren't spaces to eat inside it's only carry out!

This place is going to shit. The workers let you stand in there face and they pay no attention to you. If it wasn't for the food being good I wouldn't come back. I have been coming here for years and it has gotten piss poor. The amount of respect they give not remembering we are their pay. Im done.im not giving stars for the way people are being treated in here and the service.

This was the first time I've eaten at Greek Village so I wasn't sure what to order but I've heard nothing but great things about the Philly Cheesesteak so that's what we ordered. The fish sandwich also sounded pretty great so we ordered that as well. Let's talk about the cheesesteak though! I'm talking, perfectly seasoned steak meat, cheese all throughout the sandwich, lettuce, tomato, onion and hot peppers (optional), it was mouth watering delicious. Every single bite was a perfect combination of greasy bread, wonderful steak and all the toppings...all the things that make for a great cheesesteak. I only had a bite of the fish sandwich because I was so full from the cheesesteak but it was also just as great and the fish tasted very fresh (I believe it's either Haddock or Flounder fish). What mostly impressed me was the prices for the amount of food you get. We fed four people for under $40 and we still had some food left over. This is a great take out spot with a very impressive menu. They offer sandwiches, sub sandwiches, pizza, spaghetti, lasagna and an array of fried food platters. When we visit Maryland again, I will be returning back for sure.

Highly recommend that you call ahead of time to save time. After you get your order, check your order - they won't cheat you, but measure twice and cut once. Large orders: test your might. Some language barriers for some of the folks that you talk to - no shade, but you won't be exchanging pleasantries here. In and out. 3/5AESTHETIC Sub joint. This is my late night food spot~ They stay open until 3am. I always call ahead to place my order to limit the wait however, this place is always crowded especially at night. I was greeted by people selling items out of there cars which are typical. I have been getting primarily the same few items from the menu (cheese pizza, cheese burger subs, fries & Italian Hot Cut) and have also turned my family on to the Italian Hot Cut with everything on it. Absolutely Delish. They only take cash so be prepared.

They've been around as long as I can remember. It was awesome in the 80s back when the video store was next door and I love seeing them still going strong. Recommend calling order in ahead of time since wait can be a bit. Recommend the cheesesteak always!

We literally can't drive through Maryland and not stop for some carry out! We've been eating here since we lived here as kids. Management has changed a few times but the food quality has remained the same! My Chicken Philly with cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, Mayo and hots NEVER DISAPPOINTS!
