Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

Dirty inside. Lady at the register has an attitude with black people. I ordered sat down to wait and watched her interaction with Spanish and white people that came in and ordered, whole different tone and her voice. She was happy to help them but myself and other blacks that ordered appeared to be wasting her time. General Tso meat was dry and cakey. Fried rice was dry as well. I'm pretty sure they reheated some food from yesterday. Seeing if I can request a health department visit. Chef was filthy and didn't wash his hands when coming back from smoking

The beef lo mein is always good. I always get extra onions and beef! The shrimp egg rolls are pretty good to. My order is always hot & good! The service is quick most times. The restaurant could stand some updates and new decor. This is my go-to spot for chineese food in Edgewood!

Typical Chinese restaurant, nothing to write home about. Quick and friendly service. They have all of the basics, like general tso, foo young, egg rolls, etc. The prices are reasonable. Overall there's nothing wrong with this place, but nothing special about it either.

I particularly liked their shrimp egg rolls, shrimp egg foo young, and moo goo gai pan.

Very reasonable prices and fresh tasting food.. Great value for lunch. The Szechuan shrimp I had was great.

This was the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to, and I have been to some bad ones. I ordered Chicken in garlic sauce, there was absolutely no meat, it was all skin and fat. It was disgusting.

The food is Very Good but I can only go there for Special occasions as I am on a limited income , I do animal rescue and was unable to get to my house phone today on time & my cell phone battery was kaput ~ it was 5 minutes after their lunch Special time and that was the Only thing I was craving for Mothers Day But the girl said NO ! No Manager was there to ask . The Food is Worth going for but don't be even one second after 3 if you want the Lunch Special ~ That kind of messed up my Day because I don't often get treated lol ~ Its ok !

The food is adequate, nothing special. The service is poor. Convenience keeps me going back; nothing else.

Do Not Eat food from this Place. To Start with The Person That answers Phone to take orders was very Rude and shot with me. The Location looks dangerous and the Food was Poor Quality, Taste like the food was precooked and reheated many times. The fried wantons had a freezer burned flavor. This place is not cheap, the food is not that great, the help is rude, and this location is in a dangerous looking place... This Area has far too many Good choices for Chinese food to waste your time or money on this place.. This was the First and last time we will use this Great Wall Location 2244 Hanson Rd, Edgewood, MD 21040..

Used to be a great place when I moved here 20 years ago. Service is rude now. As an example claiming they don't have rice sometimes. The original owner would be sad at what the place has become.If you dine there I wish you the best of luck.
