So happy we tried this place tonight. At 7pm on a Friday they were able to seat us immediately. Mae was our waitress and she was so funny and personable. Honestly everyone that helped us was amazing and they were HUSTLIN busy. They gave us recommendations of meat to order and what dips to use it with. They have AYCE menu A and B. Both have great options and cost 31/38 depending on which menu you get. The food was delicious, highly recommend the Hawaiian bulgogi, spicy chicken and hanger steak. We will definitely be back soon!

I am half Korean and my husband and I went to GogiGo about a week or two ago. We enjoyed the food very much. The way the menu was set up was a bit out of the norm, but we finally figured out that I would get a Bibimbap bowl and my husband got a serving of bulgogi. It would have been way too much to get two entrees of meat, but our combination left us both full and very satisfied. They serve small dishes of side veggies, too. There was plenty of food and it was delicious and fresh. Our bill was very reasonable and I even had two glasses of wine. The wait staff was very attentive, helpful and polite. They were not too busy when we were there, so we got plenty of attention. I hope they are doing well; I would love to eat there again, even regularly!

Gogigo is very good for the price. Good quality meat and with short rib included. The sides were good and plentiful but the appetizers were lacking. The corn cheese and steamed egg come in tiny little tins which need multiple per person to satisfy. I will definitely go back for the meat.

We tried GogiGo and the food is delicious and flavors are on point. I enjoy their quality of meats and selection of bon chon or "side plates." I enjoyed the Hawaiian Bulgogi and Galbi. However, I was not a fan of their stringent "rules." You're allowed only three meats of your choice at one time. Then for children AYCE, they charge by height, not age. Also they will charge you if you order "too much." The ambiance is busy and loud. Lots of activity going back and forth, but the service is quick and efficient. The servers were constantly checking on our table to ensure we got refills in a timely manner, which was much appreciated. I'm glad to have a Korean restaurant option in Frederick and looking forward to going back.

We've been to a few Korean bbq in Maryland and I am so excited to have one so much closer to home! Usually we are driving down to Rockville or germantown so I couldn't wait to try GogiGo shortly after it opened. We went as a group of 7 and they were easily able to accommodate. The service was excellent and the staff was very attentive to our needs. I loved the unlimited sides and the meats were good quality. We had a great time enjoying the food, service, and company. We finished with about 10 min left of the 90 min time limit and left feeling satisfied.

The service as amazing I don't know what people are talking about saying bad service but even different waiters would come help us with our food and the food was great quality. If you want a chill fun night with your friends or family this is a perfect place. Its super friendly and super easy to go in and out

A quick review based on a first visit at lunch time a week after their grand opening, so stay tuned for a future update...Ambiance: very nice, modern interior. It's a typical "cook your own" Korean BBQ so the focus is on having lots of small grills, which limits table space and seating. Spousal Unit and I were seated at a table for four. We had to continually rearrange plates and dishes throughout our meal, making it a bit of a logistical challenge to separate plates of raw meat from other dishes. Do-able, but a bigger table with a lazy susan ring around the grill for banchan would have helped. Did not see any larger groups so could not tell how they managed.Food: You can order a la carte, but why would you want to? You have several AYCE options. The least expensive (Option A) includes three kinds of beef, four kinds of chicken, four kinds of port, and an assortment of banchan (sides, soups, and dumplings) with rice. You can also get veggies (onions, etc) to add to the grill. You cook the meats on the grill, and eat them as desired with (unlabeled) sauces from bottles on the table. Flavors were good and as as an AYCE place, portions are what ever you want them to be.Value: Option A is priced at $31 at dinner, making it a very good value - but at lunch, the price drops to $22 making it exceptional. We walked out stuffed and very happy. (One note: dining time is limited to 60 minutes at lunch and 90 minutes at dinner. so plan accordingly). Since Frederick's last Korean restaurant closed back in the '90s, I've had to drive to Ellicott City to get my BBQ fix. Is GoGi Go as good as Honey Pig or Chosun Hwaro? Time will tell. I hope Gogi Go cuts down my driving and fills my stomach for many, many years.

I'm so happy a KBBQ spot is available in Frederick! We've been to this spot a few times now (4-5 maybe?). It's usually a little busy, but not much of a wait. The service is pretty quick here as well, which is nice since there is a time limit for the AYCE options. We've gotten other options, but now we stick with option A as we don't feel the quality of meats in the other options are worth the extra price since everyone at the table has to get the same option. They give you a good amount of meat to start with, so everyone is able to eat relatively quickly without having to wait forever. The one thing I don't like about coming here is how the tables are set up. It is one big table for 8 people, but it is divided into 2 tables (2 parties of 4). The reason I don't like the setup is because you end up way too close to the party next to you, if someone is sitting there. Last time I came, the man in the party over kept bumping elbows with me. It was very uncomfortable and awkward. In addition to sharing a table with another party, the table space itself is very limited. We come back because the proximity to Frederick, the food is good for what you pay, and the service is relatively good. If it wasn't for the table set up, I would give this place 5 stars. I've had too many uncomfortable incidents with other parties AND not enough table space. It takes away from the dining experience as a whole in my opinion. Will I come back? Yes. I love me some KBBQ and clearly I've been here a few times since its open. Do I wonder if I'd rather drive the extra 30-40 mins to be more comfortable and slightly better meat quality? Yes I do.I would still recommend trying this spot out. It's not bad and I've recommended to a few people, but always with the warning about the table set up.

GogiGo is a great addition to Frederick, MD! Went here with my sister despite the mixed reviews, but figure we should go see and experience it personally.I had the all you can eat a+b option roughly $36 per person.I enjoyed the interior, design and layout of the place. The tables are wide enough for drinks side dishes etc. the only thing i disliked were the chairs. They are utterly uncomfortable, especially after 30mins of sitting. The food were good! Gogi steak, beef brisket, and spicy squid were delicious. I did not like that the marinated steak and pork belly had so much fat on them. But also there are variety of other choices of protein. They do offer basket of lettuce and other veggie side dishes which is good with meats. Be sure to ask for the SESAME OIL, sprinkle some salt and pepper and it taste amazing with your beef. The service was exceptional. Servers were very accomidating and helpful. The guy who brought us the meats was great, did not let us wait too long inbetween ordering. There was also an elder ajumma who were very thoughtful and nice! Lowkey taught us to wrap the beefs in lettuce with the garlic + spiced paste they give you. I thought that was the most humbling thing! The grill was good, but the oil from fatty meat were dripping down on the open flame not sure if thats safe. Maybe it is just how it is. Overall, good food, good service, great hood above the grill (keeping smoke/smell minimal).

This place, at best, is decent in a pinch. However, with plenty of better options in areas like Rockville, the only thing that has me coming back here is distance. Pros: The AYCE options are a good bang for your buck, the cuts and marinade are good and you get what you pay for.The sauces are great, I'm glad you can also ask for lettuce raps, garlic, and samjang on the side for a more authentic meal. Both times I've been here I had the same waitress who was engaging and helpful.Cons:The side dishes are left to be desired. Bulgogi Fries are mediocre, the Pork Dumplings I ordered had to be sent back because they were still cold in the middle (and even after waiting ages to get them remade, I still had 1 or 2 pieces that were cold inside), and the corn cheese was just sad. Service was slow. I understand this place has just opened up and with seemingly a majority of staff being teenagers, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. But with so many people running around, everything seemed a bit disorganized and we were often left over looked. Banchan was always left un replenished.Overall, as one of Frederick's first KBBQ restaurants, it's a convenient place to quickly fulfill my KBBQ cravings. But I would still drive half an hour to the next town for better service and quality.
