Glenwood's - Owings Mills

Glenwoods is a beautiful, intimate restaurant on Owings Mills Blvd. It sits in the shopping center next to STEVENSON UNIVERSITY. This restaurant used to operate under the name STANFORD KITCHEN. The menu is very simple with meals that have nice portions ! . A side salad will look like a medium salad . I visited on a Monday night without any reservations. I was greeted by a hostess and I asked for a booth in the middle of the restaurant. If you sit next to the door during the winter the cold draft comes in every time someone enters. I waited at the bar until the booth I wanted was available. The bartender greeted me and gave me a menu . CUSTOMER SERVICE IS . You will not be invisible. My table took less than 5 min and after I was seated my server Kate greeted me. She was super nice and charismatic. She brought drinks and food out on time ! I usually order the FIESTA EGGROLLS or THE Rotisserie Chicken Meal because it is always good. This time I tried THE STANFORD BURGER ,SOUP OF THE DAY " RED BEANS & RICE" , and a side CEASAR SALAD .I'm not a fan of the French fries . They are very skinny and fried hard . I guess it's the shoe string style ? Anyways burger was cooked well done and delicious. Red beans and rice was very good The side CEASAR SALAD came with house made croutons and cornbread . The croutons are massive but they are yummy. If you have false teeth you may not like the crunchiness The cornbread was perfect . I ate it with my red beans and rice because I'm a southern girl . This place is great for a date night or a dinner party. A meal for two could be around $65-$100 but it is worth it. I'm going to come back and try the bar for happy hour.

We came for dessert, drinks, and coffee. Our waiter took a while to come over to us, but was sweet and attentive once he did. It was a short visit, but we loved our apple pie a la mode. I'm sure it was sooo fattening, but it was worth it! The have a good bread pudding too. Until next time.

Showed up for a business lunch right as they opened. Was immediately seated and given menus. Ordered the Fiesta Egg Rolls appetizer to start, then I ordered the Stacked Reuben sandwich. My colleague got the chicken sandwich. I thought I died and went to heaven everything was so good. Our server was awesome and very attentive. Inside is clean, fine dining. Everyone was super professional. I love this place and can't wait to return.

Excellent service by Ciara. Great ambiance, light music , great setting , it wasn't loud, lovely food. I had the pot pie, did not disappoint. I tasted the bday girls key lime pie and it was creamy and sooo good. My friends has the rubs and salmon, both enjoyed their food as well. Ig and the moscow mule was perfectly balanced and delicious. The price range is fair! There is a parking lot as well.

Large venue, with a moderate upscale vibe. Casual attire is perfectly fine, but the decor, dim lighting, & music playing (jazz & piano music) all combine to give you a slightly more upscale vibe. It's in a shopping complex, so plenty of parking. Fast & friendly service, our server Andy was phenomenal. He really has a way of selling the dishes & drinks that draws you in. We had Uptown Old Fashioned, Peartini, Fiesta Egg Rolls, Iron Skilled Cornbread, Rotisserie Chicken Salad, BBQ Ribs, Rattlesnake Pasta, & Crab Cake Sandwich. Everything was very good. The All-Stars were the Ribs & the Egg Rolls. Definitely worth a stop. I went on a Sunday evening early. It wasn't packed and I was alone so I got a seat immediately. I was greeted by my waiter and the service was attentive but not too pushy. I decided to go with the special and got it cooker medium rare. Where I wish it came out a bit hotter temperature wise it had good flavor and was cooked how I ordered it. The standouts here were the potatoes and the cornbread, which came with my salad. It was so flavorful and sweet and tasty I couldn't resist. Inside it's fairly generic. I would say the dress is business casual and I would recommend trying to dress in something more than shorts and a tshirt.

I've been to Stanford Kitchen a few times in the past so I happily met a friend for an impromptu dinner to see what this rebranding to Glenwoods is all about . To our surprise everything is exactly the same- same menu, restaurant interior, even the logo on the plates still read Stanford. Odd but not disappointing since we've been happy with the menu options/restaurant in the past. The weather was great that day so we opted for one of the tables in their small but inviting patio space. Service out there while friendly, was not the best. There were long periods without checking in, big gaps between courses, it took an eternity to get the check then it was another huge wait before anyone ever came back to get it!The service struggles damped the experience and definitely kept us from ordering additional drinks or dessert. We gave some grace as we were later told by our server that she had a full section inside so I'm guessing out of sight out of mind with us outside. At any rate the food overall was ok, my main (chicken parm) was ok not the best, our drinks and apps fantastic (fiesta egg rolls, watermelon salad, espresso and pair martinis)! I'd likely be back for drinks and apps sometime but will definitely sit at the bar to avoid being forgotten.

I love the atmosphere, the food, and the drinks but ONE of the MAIN reasons my wife and I drive from from PA once a week is to see Ms. Lisa. She is amazing and she makes the BEST Old Fashion and Peartini. We love her positive attitude, her contagious smile, and her genuine heart. Ms. Lisa is a gem and we love her.

I always go to this location for food and drinks with Lisa !!! It's always a great time.I use to go to Stoney river but it was always standard. Lisa makes it a fun and positive experience.I definitely recommend going there and seeing for yourself how great it is.
