Gino's Burger & Chicken

As someone who grew up not so far from Glen Burnie, I have driven past Gino's countless times. And I'll be real with you: I've always thought it was kinda sketch. No shade, but just always kinda looked abandoned / empty from the outside in passing. Last night, however, I had a hankering for onion rings. And not the beer battered or bread crumb kind; specifically the hand battered kind they used to have at Popeyes or at TGI Fridays in the 90s. The kind that's super crumbly and has little crunchy bits and craggles.So, scrolling through Doordash, I stumble upon the beauties they serve at Gino's. When I tell you these were the crispiest, most seasoned, delicate, crunchiest onion rings I've had, I mean it. Truthfully. My god. Sure I might have paid extra because it was Doordash *and* because I paid a long distance fee (Gino's is about 10 miles away from where I live in Arnold), but I would *gladly* pay extra to have this delivered to my house. Like... even not piping hot due to the travel time these onion rings slapped.I also got the "super Gino's burger" -- not gonna lie, the menu is a tad confusing online and maybe the experience is easier to discern between this and the regular "big Gino" in person at the restaurant. However, the patties are cooked to order and they use real beef. Tasted like a burger you would get at a family cookout with all the fixings and not a generic fast food burger. I also appreciate that they took the time to read the special requests on my order which means the service there is top notch.I look forward to eating here in person in the future and am adding this to my list of hometown gems.

Great Burgers like the old days. Service is great, wish they still had the Hero Burger. But they do have the Gino Giant. And great hand cut fries.Talk about a blast from the past, highly recommended. Prices are great too.

This is Gino's totally reimagined. With the exception of the Gino giant it's totally different from the Gino's that you remember from the 60s and 70s.However I must say some of the changes are worth mentioning.There are so many flavors of milkshakes there's no way that you would run out of choices. But burger prices tend to be high at $4.44 for a thin hamburger with ketchup relish lettuce and tomato. The roll was too big and dense for the hamburger as the patty only filled about 2/3 of the roll. So you are left with a lot of bread and no burger. They do also now offer fried shrimp so there are alternatives to burgers. A positive note - on the five or six visits I have had the staff is always very friendly and the orders are accurate.

My first visit here , my food was really good to come from a drive through will definitely come back , service was friendly I had to wait a few minutes for my order I definitely didn't mind.

Since pandemic drive through only. Miss the atmosphere however, the food is still great. I try to get the classic burger meal with onion rings and sauce when I am in the area. I enjoy the milk shake with whipped cream and a fat cherry on top. Really need to stop ordering the milk shakes. Too good, too filling. I will continue to support this business. Hope you will too.

Great onion rings at a reasonable price. I don't know where to get real fried onion rings since Popeyes no longer makes them. This is my go to place for onion rings now. I love the three chicken strips. Sometimes I get the buffalo strips, but the sauce can be a little too spicy for me. They give you three generous pieces. I can only eat half at a meal. I love the blue cheese dressing with it. Excellent service too. They've remembered my order every time I stop by even when I'm in a different vehicle. Only the drive through window is open so you can't go inside. The milkshakes are made with premium ice cream and they have great flavors.

Good food at fair prices. Drive through is super convenient and they are always quick. Perfect whenever I need to grab lunch but don't have a whole lot of time.

Burger....good. Chicken sandwich (Buffalo)....good. Fries/Rings basket (LOVE anyplace that let's you combine them cuz I can never choose) Good. Shakes...good. Nothing that'll blow your socks off but everything I tried was ....you got it.....GOOD. Better than all the "me too" chains. When in Maryland, check out this local fave.

Open the dining area again!! Who wants to eat lunch in their car!! They closed it during COVID then decided to make it storage. The district manager should be fired for this decision!!

Dirty expensive surly service. Almost poor food. Just about everything you don't want in a place to eat (calling it a restaurant would be an insult to real restaurants)
