Gigis Ice Cream & Cafe

We live pretty close to Gigi's and enjoy stopping in sometimes for ice cream or coffee. It's always nice to stop in and see the friendly staff and have a quick chat. The cafe itself is a bit small. They have a couple of tables inside to eat at and the sort of foyer section has a seating area to wait/hang out. There are some picnic tables out front though. We haven't tried their sandwiches yet so I can't comment on that but the ice cream (which is Hershey's) and coffee are good. Unfortunately they don't have decaf espresso, only drip coffee. I would love to have the option to get a decaf cappuccino or latte but that's really my only gripe.

We were both in the mood for some ice cream! I wanted a cone with sprinkles cause I'm childish!! He wanted butter pecan! So we found ourselves looking for ice cream and we found Gigi's!! I made the mistake of getting a dairy free vegan choice! It wasn't soo great! Just the mouth feel of it and it was very sweet! I'll just pass on it next time! However, the cookies and cream was very good! He enjoyed his ice cream also! All in all, we enjoyed Gigi's! We sat outside and ate ice cream on a hot day! Very enjoyable!

Don't let ice cream in the name fool you. This cute, cozy place is so much more! There's coffee, teas, sandwiches, and acai bowls. I've probably passed this place so many times not knowing it was there. I stopped in for a chai latte to go, but it's definitely a place I'll sit down next time! My drink was great and price was amazing. Sarah was so sweet and provided great service!

Saturday was my second time going to the ice cream shop. I attended the Main St. Festival and decided to stop at Gigi's. I ordered the turkey and cheese panini. It was very flavorful. It was nice and warm. Also, the bread was soft. I couldn't eat the whole sandwich so ate one half yesterday and the other half today for lunch. The service was great. I was greeted and my ordered was taken right away. I didn't have to wait long for my order. It's small inside. They have a few tables inside. They just build a small patio area where you can sit outside. They sell sandwiches, smoothies, desserts, etc.

I love the acaì bowls. I stop by frequently and there is a different hand written message on the top of each bowl. The team is nice and attentive. I also enjoy the ice cream when I want a special treat. Highly recommend.

Nestled on Main Street, America, lies a newly opened mom & pop Ice Cream shop -- in this case, owner Karelin is literally about to become a mom! But don't let the ice cream label fool you. On top of their 14 different ice creams (and 10 toppings), they have great coffee and espresso drinks; pastries for humans and their pup owners; and croissant and pannini sandwiches-- high honors to this pesto caprese pannini I'm munching on now. DC-ers, why come to Laurel? Driving Ranges then Ice Cream.

Laurel absolutely needed a dessert place like Gigi's! Gigi's has been on my radar for quite some time and I was finally able to go this weekend with my cousins and it definitely exceeded my expectations! The customer service was amazing and so was the drinks we got, I wholeheartedly recommend the Strawberry Lemonade! The outdoor seating paired with the cafe being in the heart of Main Street makes it so much cuter. Aside from the Lemonade, the owner even offered us a Pumpkin Spiced Iced Chai Latte for free to try and it was the best fall drink I've had, even better than Starbucks and Dunkin. I can't rave about this place enough! Definitely the top desserts/breakfasts/coffee place in Laurel, a must try!

The best order: Chocolate Acia Bowl, extra Nutella!! Every single time.... Sooo good! Fresh fruit, perfect blend! Happy people!! I love it here. I go once a week...Sometimes twice if life is lifing! Highly recommend

Since finding this place I've been here about 4 times and it hasn't even been two weeks lol. The customer service is awesome and i love the açaí bowls.
