Gianni's Pizza

Just moved to the area from Hawaii. Wanted to find a good pizza place that isn't one of the big chain restaurants. Decided to try Gianni's. It's really close to our house. I called, placed my order and was told approx 20-25 min pick up time. No problem. Easy to navigate, good parking. It's in a strip mall of sorts. Restaurant seemed very clean and my pizzas were ready just as promised. Gentleman behind the counter was friendly and professional. We ordered the White Pizza, The Godfather Pizza, and a pepperoni Chicago style pizza. All were excellent! My favorite was the white pizza and that shocked me because I love toppings. It was a tough decision as they were all very very good. Great dough, spices, right amount of toppings. I have literally no complaints and can't wait to try the other items on the menu.

Gianni's is my go to spot for a quick lunch. Their service is friendly, quick, and the prices are very affordable for the amount of food that you get. The pizza is absolutely fantastic with a nice tangy sauce, plenty of cheese and pepperoni under the cheese (which I've found that I like). The also sell by the slice and can have them ready very quick. There is a decent amount of seating (booths) with chips and drink options. Check them out if you're in the area.

Went for lunch its a really cool authentic Italian spot. I ordered a cheese pizza slice and a cheesesteak. The pizza slice was very fresh and definitely a good alternative if you just fix a pizza craving. The cheesesteak was pretty bad the meat was like lunch meat. I will try other things in the future. Service was great! Definitely has that local feel and will be coming in again.

Food was amazing! I got the garlic knots and cheese NY pizza and was pleased with not only the service but food! They were very nice and I enjoyed the vibe there as well! Definitely recommend!

Not much to write here. Solid NY style pizza which reminds me of home. Big slices at a reasonable price. Quick friendly service. And old school pizzeria vibes. No table service, but you don't really need that if you are just getting a pizza.They also have cheese steaks, calzones, cannolis, and salad. Great place and will continue to be my local pizza plug for the foreseeable future

Tried Gianni's for the first time today, 8/30/24. I was in the mood for a 'GOOD' thick crust pizza, and they have it. We got a plain cheese, nothing plain about it, and a meat lovers Chicago pie, lots of meat, both were great tasting (crust, sauce, cheese all delicious). They are a little out of the way from where we live in Columbia, but worth the trip.Oh yea, I got a couple of their their desserts, and YES, Miss P.A., we will be back, your fresh made chocolate cannoli are amazing.The young lady behind the counter, super polite, quick, kind, and very easy to converse with. There is seating available don't go looking for any Michelin Stars, after all it is a small shopping center pizza place. I would pick this place 9 times out of 10 over Ledo Pizza. The seating is clean and not cramped. I would take my wife there for lunch/dinner. I really want to try their Calzone and meatball sub.

Anne Arundel County STAPLE. Gianni's Pizza is a family operated business that has been around for about 39 years. It has been everyone's go-to pizza joint since I can remember. Their kitchen is "Italian scratch" styled, making everything they serve in-house. If you are a fan of "warrior" pizzas, this is you new go-to spot (warrior pizza is a pinwheeled pizza stuffed with freshly grated mozzarella cheese, ground Italian sausage, and pepperoni). Being someone who doesn't truly love pizza, Gianni's pizza is hard to pass up. On Tuesdays they serve a large cheese pizza for the price of a medium!

We ordered a large NY style cheese pizza here about two weeks ago. I forgot to take a picture of it, but it was a pretty pizza. We like our pizza cooked well done with a slightly crispy crust and they did it just right. The pizza was perfect. I have been looking for some authentic tasting pizza in the area, and I think I found it. The sauce was delicious with just the right amount on the pizza and the crust was good. I would definitely order from here again. Next up is a calzone, manicotti or maybe some stuffed shells. I really wish I had taken a picture of the whole pizza, but take my word for it, it was tasty. The service was good. The person who worked the counter was cordial. The restaurant had a pretty standard carryout ambiance, but it appeared clean.

This is the best pizza place around. I'm Italian and from NJ so it's always a challenge to find even decent pizza. We've ordered from Giannis maybe four or five times now and have only ever had one pizza we weren't excited about. Generally though, this is our go to when not in NYC or NJ.

This is as good as advertised. First time ordering and it was perfect. Will return next time I travel back to this area!
