Mild Indian food - fit and easy to try for rookie food explore. Anyway, overall is still tastes good. The highlight is about service, very polite and professional. Price is a little bit more expensive than others because it makes from organic products. Location in downtown Silver Spring- no free parking spot near the restaurant - but there are a few meters parking around and garages are available.

We'd been wanting to come here since moving to area and finally got around to it last night. In a sea of Ethiopian places in Silver Spring, Ghar-E-Kebab also has a ew, btu we both were craving Indian food.Service was cordial, prompt and lovely, and we found the ambiance of people at the bar, a few other occupied tables and the random "scenic view of places around the world" footage on the TVs great. We had the Furaula to start, which were warm and super tasty. The accompanying chutney added a great flavor to it and I was happy we'd tried them. For our mains, my partner got the Non Vegetarian Thali with Lamb and I got the the Kadai chicken, although I think it's called something else on the actual menu in the restaurant. Mine was super tasty and the portion was very nice as were the flavors. The Thali drew rave reviews as well. Some of our favorite Indian food so far in Silver Spring. Highly recommend

My partner and I had a good time here. I used to live in Pittsburgh and we had a ton of amazing Nepali restaurants. This restaurant was very different from what I was used to in Pittsburgh but was still very tasty. The rice desert that was a part of the thali was TO DIE FOR! Everything else was well spiced too. The server was nice and the ambiance was clean. I will be happy to come back or order take out.

Wow I'm impressed! I actually was on my way to another restaurant and the owner came out and spoke to us and invited us in. The food smelled good so we sat down. I ordered the veggie combo and it was delicious! I can be picky about Ethiopian because I only really like one spot in MD but this really met my standard! Everything was traditional from the decor, the dishes they used and even the music. I was grateful for the outstanding customer service and would love to come back

Great food and restaurant is nicely decorated! Highly recommend the Tandoori chicken and vegetable thali combo!

New ownership. We were the only ones in restaurant on a Fri nite. Had fish, lamb, other dishes. Not as good as with original owner,

The momos were good. They're a kind of Nepali dumpling. Get the chicken kind rather than The vegetable kind lol. The service was pretty reasonable and the ambience wasn't bad. Would come back to have more momos!
