George Martin's Grillfire

We visited this location on Friday January 24, 2025 at 4:40 pm. Excellent dining experience. We love the decor of the dining room. The owners didn't overdo it with watered down lavish props and lighting. I enjoy LIGHT when I am eating because I want to see what's on my plate.The dining room is spotlessly clean. The restrooms are sparkling and well stocked. Kudos to the staff. There's nothing worse than a dirty, funky restroom to kill your experience.The staff is very warm and welcoming. Everyone is smiling and happy to answer your questions.The food was very well seasoned, served hot and came out in a timely manner. We had the Gorgonzola bread, crab balls, and cream of crab soup as appetizers. All three were excellent. I kinda think that the sherry cream was a little overbearing in the crab soup but that is totally subjective. I would order it again. I recommend the Slow Braised Short Ribs! Very juicy and flavored to my liking. My wife had the Blackened chicken Alfredo and she loved it. I highly recommend this location.

Excellent food, prices, atmosphere and service! Omg this place is amazing!Our server, Carissa, was so amazing, friendly and knowledgeable about the food.We are here visiting from Hawaii to go to the Trump Inauguration and basically will be eating out...So appreciate this place!As we say in Hawaii...Mahalo Nui Loa (thank you very much)

Came for a work event and the food and service were outstanding! The restaurant is in the lobby of a really nice hotel and parking is free. Someone at my table had the meatloaf and OMG the portion of meatloaf was enough for 3 meals!! The calamari was excellent, the crab minis were delicious and so was the crab dip. No filler, all lump. I had the shrimp and lobster fettuccini and it was pretty good. Could have used a dash of Old Bay or a little something more to enhance the flavor but it was good. I would have liked to see some lobster tail meat, not just claw. I also got the strawberry shortcake dessert special to go. I haven't tasted it yet but I can't wait to dig in! I'd def come back for sure.

The customer service was great even when one of the dishes; pork chop chutney wasn't pleasing. They made the adjustment and the dish was more satisfying. The bolognese was plentiful and good. Just add a little salt and pepper and wallah. Lastly, the stuffed chicken and potatoes were delicious and tender. Oh forgot , the cream of crab was delicious too!

Late post - visited in September 2024I stayed at the Arundel hotel and ate here one night. My server was great and attentive. My dish was okay. Honestly, overpriced for mediocre food. The cocktail was good though, they missed the mark with the food though.

My 50th Birthday dinner was amazing. The server which i forgot this name was super dope. He managed the party with ease. He did not miss a beat!! I remember that even with several of my favorite black cherry whiskey sours lol. My all time favorite drinks. We ordered several different items from the menu. Every thing was good. Crab balls, the Brussel sprouts, pasta, steak tacos, the smash burger and sweet potato casserole oh and truffle fries to end the night. Grille Fire never disappoints.

The Wife, our 2yr old & I visited George Martin's Grillfire bc we were staying in the hotel attached to the restaurant - The Arundel Preserve. Our waitress Mya was really nice, and when we asked her suggestions she gave us two: the Steak strips appetizer & my entree, and they both were a hit. Mya can be trusted. 10/10. There was literally no wait time & was seated really quickly even though the restaurant felt pretty busy & our food came out really fast.. 10/10. On to our meals...Our appetizer was the Steak Strips & man were they tender & flavorful. 9/10. My son got the Kids Mac & Cheese but the Wife & I had some too. 6/10. It wasn't bad by any stretch but it was a different variation of Mac & Cheese than what I am used to, but that's ok. It was still good. For Entrees the Wife got the days special, Australian Lamb chops w/ mash potatoes & broccoli & rated it a 10/10. I got the Braised BBQ Short rib w/ crispy onion straws on a bed of mash potatoes & man were those ribs tender & delicious. 10/10 For dessert, I got the Crème Brûlée & the Wife & kiddo split a dairy free, gluten free brownie that tasted like the regular version. 10/10. In closing, we had a really good time & the Mrs. Keeps raving about wanting to return.

I came here with three of my sisters and another guest for one of my sister's birthday. The appetizer was decent. The crab was okay with mediocre chips. I ordered the shrimp and lobster pasta with added broccoli. I initially thought the food was good until the lobster started to taste off. The lobster had a very bland taste and it gave a strong fishy aftertaste. Both my sisters and I took our orders back. I ordered the same thing but without the lobster. My other sister got disgusted because she ordered a bison burger but thought that was the name of the burger and not the meat itself. Both my sisters took their burgers back. One sister didn't order anything and the other had a replacement pasta which she eventually took back because she said the sauce tasted like Spaghetti O's. The manager came over and heard us out but she didn't take anything off our bill. My sister got a complimentary birthday dessert of two brownies with m&ms and four scoops of whipped cream. We had to ask for ice cream and the manager noted they only had vanilla. And that was the least they could have done. Ambiance is pretty nice at least, fireplace was a nice touch. Below average experience with meh customer service.

Well seasoned food! Drinks delightful. Had Strawberry Margarita. Service was excellent. Ambiance was casual. Very clean establishment! This place is a must try! I will be back to try something different.

We wanted to try this for some time. It replaced Vivo which we really enjoyed. This isn't close to the prior restaurant it replaced.Our server was less than interested in our business and we didn't feel welcome. Very robotic service.The braised short ribs were just ok. They were dry and the flavor was bland and lacking. BBQ didn't make sense. Mashed potatoes were flavorless and under seasoned. Way too many fried onions pulled on top. The location and space were the best part of the experience.
