General House Asian Cuisine and Sushi

I've been to this restaurant twice for all you can eat sushi and it has been one of my favorite spots to hit. The sushi/sashimi tastes fresh (especially the salmon- my favorite) and their other dishes are great too! Tempura is always a must have for me and they were great. Service was great. The waitress always seemed to be available when we wanted more rounds. We did go on a week day for dinner.

Met a friend here for some All You Can Eat (AYCE) sushi! The menu includes appetizers, rolls, sashimi, sushi and special rolls! You can also use that menu to order drinks. Seaweed salad is a staple -- I started with that and picked some of the new rolls on the menu. One was their new Flamingo roll, which was spicy and flavorful. There were two other new rolls on the menu, but I forgot what they were called, and I can't find the menu online... darn! I got red snapper, red clams, bean curd (so delightfully sweet), sweet potato rolls, white tuna and a few other things.Overall the offerings were delicious! Let's talk about some other elements of the restaurant... the first things you see when you walk in are a bar and a nice-sized aquarium. There are a bunch of tables to sit at which can easily fit 4 people. There are some bigger seating areas in the back. The service was good throughout our experience... the only turnoff for me was the bathroom area... even though it was separated by a curtain, I could smell it. I know it was the bathroom because when I went back there the smell got stronger. Aside from that I'd recommend this spot to anyone around.

Very nice and varied menu of many Asian dishes.we all love. They have at all you can eat sushi menu. I've tried soups, udon, sashimi, sushi, teriyakis and have been pleased with all. .

Having previously tried (&loved) their AYCE dine-in option, we decided to try out some of their specialty rolls to-go. We opted for:crazy tuna roll-(also available on the AYCE menu)- I love the peppery crunchlong beach roll- very well balanced flavors- everything can be tasted; delicious creamy mouth feelmaryland roll-a deliciously elevated spider rollsashimi roll-wow, can't believe this roll isn't more expensive- thick, large slabs of fish-hearty, delectable eatall equally delicious- hearty good portions, well stuffed, well balanced, well seasoned- would order other rolls (can easily see myself craving these ones again as well)

This is a super intimate neighborhood spot boasting an extensive all you can eat sushi menu!!!! I visited last night with my bestie and we enjoyed the Pink Lady Roll, Godzilla Roll and Shrimp Fried Rice. I had never had a pink lady roll but they always looked so pretty in pictures so it was a must try! I loved it! The tuna and steamed shrimp paired perfectly. The Godzilla roll was crunchy and had just the right amount of saltiness. The fried rice was steaming hot and, with a dash of soy sauce, became the perfect addition to the meal.The restaurant itself is small inside but it adds to the intimate vibes. I would definitely recommend as a date night sushi place or a girls night like we had. The drinks are very reasonable and do not Disappoint! Try them while you finish up your holiday shopping in the area and thank me later!

Not bad for the price ! All you can eat sushi/sashimi for $30. We went on a weeknight so wasn't busy and service was quick! We only saw one person making the sushi but our orders didn't take long at all . The fish were fresh, plenty of choices and the sushi rolls were good and the sashimi delicious! Definitely a must try and we definitely would return!Located in a strip mall - Southdale Shopping Center , so , plenty of parking!Place is clean but ordinary but then again, the food makes up for it. Just go !!!

Went for the AYCE dinner- not bad for $27 on a weeknight ESPECIALLY because sashimi is included. The best advice I can give is to go for half sushi/ half sashimi that way you can split off some of the rice and eat with the sashimi (bc the sushi does come with a lot of rice and thin pieces of fish). We arrived shortly after they opened on a Monday and there was only 1 other table so our sushi orders did not take long to make (only 1 chef). We only ordered the sushi, but it would've been nice if something sweet was included in the price- was craving some ice cream after.

I went here with my son's family on a recent visit and really enjoyed it. The seafood was so fresh and the soup and salad were very good. Being all you can eat, it was a little hard not to overdo it. The service was excellent, and they gave my two year old granddaughter the attention she wanted. I would definitely go back on a future trip.

Very good sushi, always so full afterwards! Service is nice, and it's just a good vibe.

Good quality sushi for the all you can eat sushi special, along with a great selection of appetizers!
