Gateway Pizza

LOTS of options! Including some pretty unique pizza ones. I got the tandoori chicken pizza and it was better than I was expecting. Prices were solid, too. A teeny bit more expensive than your average big chain pizza.It was a takeout order so I can't say much about the service or atmosphere. There were a few small 2-person tables. Seemed about par for a pizza place that primarily serves takeout orders.I know some folks who rag on this place because they grew up in the area and view it as an easy low-quality option when you just want something greasy and filling, but that wasn't my experience (well, the greasy and filling part was but I thought the food was good).I'd happily go back!

Being nearby in the area, I googled this pizza place craving some fresh cheese pizza. At first I was hesitant with all the low reviews and complaints, but figured it's a small business and to give it a try. It's a sort of a "hole-in-the-wall" place with pizza, sandwiches, subs, salads, and more. I went with my husband who is a pizza fanatic and even he was hesitant about the quality. We ordered the Tomato and Cheese medium pizza, Cheeseburger medium pizza and curly fries. All orders are made to order and we sat and waited for about 15-20 minutes before the order was ready. When we got our order, the pizza was piping hot. We decided to eat there to get in a few slices since it was fresh out of the oven. The cheese on my pizza was literally melting and I had a nice "cheese pull" on it. My husband enjoyed his cheeseburger pizza as the dough was fresh and the cheeseburger style was delicious. We couldn't finish it since it was more than enough for the both of us. As I write this, we're eating the leftovers and it's still just as good. Try this place out if you're in the mood for pizza - you won't be disappointed. Also, they have a wide range of beverages from sodas, juices and teas - ignore the "out of order" soda machine.

Ordered from "Brooklyn Calzones" which is apparently a pseudonym for Gateway Pizza (same address). Grubhub price for the calzone was $19.99. What I received was a deplorable (all dough, almost non existent fillings) calzone with a receipt from Gateway Pizza for $9.99. Totally unacceptable!

Hurray for an honest delivery person !I mistakenly overpaid for the tip, but the delivery person returned the extra $$$

DON'T ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! Poor delivery service and even worst customer service! My food with mayonnaise was left outside in 90 degree plus weather, the driver NOT following instructions & texted the INCORRECT telephone number stating "I hope you get your food!" When speaking with a female at the restaurant she said there's NOTHING she can do!

I placed an order for delivery. When I received my pizza, half of the cheese and pepperoni had slid to the other side. Not sure WHAT the delivery guy was doing. Very disappointed in this place.

Pizza is decent, however this place is FILTHY DIRTY!!! It's not that busy, so no excuse why this place is so nasty! CLEAN THIS PLACE!!!!

Foods good when the order is right. Every other time we order we get pepperoni Stromboli instead of veggie. Instead of apologizing and sending a new correct order, we are on hold for over 20 minutes. Delivery drivers are great. Wish they could get the order right.

I really enjoyed their California Pizza. I also ordered their Roasted Garlic wings as well as the lemon pepper. The wings were OK. I'd order the wings again but I wouldn't rave about it with my friends.

The pizza is underbaked bread. Don't bother. There are so many other places to get pizza and lther kinds of "fast food style" foods. They don't know ehat they're doing. Food is bland, overpriced. Avoid.
