My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time today. We went for breakfast.The restaurant is located in a strip mall in Severna Park, Maryland. It is very clean and bright a unique decor!When we arrive, we were greeted quickly and told to sit wherever we would like. Within moments, our waitress, Shannon, was over to take our drink order. My husband ordered the all American skillet. It's packed with every kind of breakfast meat you could imagine and he said it was delicious. I ordered the very fresh toast. It's French toast coated in Cap'n Crunch cereal, served with a side of berry compote.When I ordered, I asked was large or if I might need to order size and she explained it very hard and it should be plenty. She was right it was very good. They're very crunchy coating on the outside, but saw and yummy French toast texture on the inside. Our waitress, Shannon, was awesome. She always magically appeared with coffee, refills, or to bring napkins and stuff like that. We never had to look for her. She kept an eye on our table, but without constantly interrupting us.There are some unique items on the menu that we really want to try. We will definitely be back!

Looks like a diner, came for breakfast, no complaints. Service was quick, friendly and they kept my coffee full. For some reason this place never popped up on my diner / luncheonette radar, but that's what it is. No idea if it's good for dinner but I'd come back for breakfast and lunch. They also have beer and cocktails if you need that breakfast Bloody Mary (they had a drink list and the cocktails seemed expensive - $15 or so, maybe I read it wrong and that was bottomless)Don't snooze on the outside seating. Inside is a long thin restaurant with lots of booths, a couple window tables and a few stools at the counter. It has a big menu with small print in a dark restaurant. Bring your readers if you need them!Gary's has been here since 1991 and by the look of the other patrons seems a lot of old timers have been coming here for decades and it's their breakfast tradition. Definitely try it if you like a greasy spoon diner sort of place. Looking forward to coming back with the family and sampling more things on the menu. Beers and burgers may be delightful, check specials. I think there's an $8 burger day... on Monday?

Great business owned and run by Eddie from NY. Garry is gone. Lol. Imaginative sandwiches, many of which have a New York flare, which I love Entrees that are nicely Sized and delicious.Their staff works together like a well oiled machine and you never feel like you have to call anybody because they see what you want when walking by. This definitely sets them apart from other dining establishments.I dine there often. We as a couple go at least once a month. Love this place. I

Service here was wonderful! Gary was training a server and came right up to us and told us he would be training her. New server was kind and quick. Ambiance was a small diner w home town vibes. Made me feel welcome w my two kids. The food was good. We really liked the park wings! Well cooked, nice and crispy and the sauce was good. We were referred here by a friend for their Wed burger specials. Everything was good. The bathroom has things that told me they value a woman's experience such as automatic sanitary disposal, baby changing table, and full length mirror. Plus, the owner was seen and present and kind to us. Will certainly come here again!

Went here for breakfast the other day. The food was delicious. So many items on the menu to choose from, had a hard time figuring out which one we wanted. The service was excellent. Our waitress was wonderful. Very personable. Like a hometown diner with booths.

My husband and really like Garry's. We are there almost every other week. Food is good as well as the service. People are friendly and cook is accommodating. One time I picked up the lunch menu by mistake and even though it was dinner time the cook said he would make me the selection from the lunch menu anyway. Good customer service!

Cute local place! Great salads and dressings. One of our faves is the salad with chicken salad on it and the raspberry vinaigrette dressing. I love that Garry's includes a small muffin on the side instead of the usual of bread. Their wings are fantastic but recommend ordering in the restaurant for optimal experience. (Wings don't travel as well) Their breakfasts are yummy. Service was also great - always quick for pickup or in the restaurant. Garry's is in our regular restaurant rotation!

Service was not the best. Waitress was pleasant enough but not very attentive. Food was mediocre at best. Maryland crab soup was not very flavorful, and just warm. Tasted more like tomato soup with veggies thrown in. Little crab. Nachos were just ok. Got a few burgers at the table, they were just ok. Fish and chips as well, fish was very greasy and appeared a bit burnt on one end. Plates pulled up as the dinner went on. Glasses as well were piled up as refills were delivered and glasses not taken. Would not go back.
