GangNam Bi Bim Bap

This place is a hidden gem. I ordered the tofu bibimbap bowl and my friend the beef bowl. Both were excellent ! The tofu was so flavorful. The sauce is so tasty. Great price for the portion you receive. Will definitely be coming back!

Stopped at Northeast Market today for lunch. I've been wanting to try Gang Nam since they opened. I was afraid it would be a waste of money. But today I took a chance and I'm so glad I did. I got the Jeyuk Deopbap . Pork with steamed rice and vegetables on the side. Everything was very tasty. The vegetables went very well with the refreshing meal its a little spicy but very good. I will be back to try more.

The area around the JHU medical campus isn't exactly known for its trendy food options, but this unassuming little stall inside the Northeast Market is really a hidden gem! I've been here a couple of times now for lunch and they never disappoint. Generous portions, warm and friendly service, and most importantly the food is homey and tasty. Happy to have found this place.

I haven't found Bulgogi in the area since Hot Mustard closed. This stall caught my eye while my wife grabbed some chicken. I bought the Beef Bulgogi withe steamed rice shredded carrots & cucumber. The meal also came with a cup of soup which I expected to be chicken but turned out to be tofu. The Bulgogi was really good, not soaking in sauce and covered the rice really nice.

Pleasantly surprised by this new addition to the market! Had kimchi jjigae for lunch today. The portion was quite big, came with three different side dishes which were all refreshing and delicious. Jjigae was spicy and actually very flavorful. Ingredients taste fresh and the soup was made to order. The staff was so friendly too. Will be back often!

This place is SO GOOD!! Got a beef bim bim bop and it's the best one I've had. Super fresh veggies with very nicely seasoned beef and a huge portion. Will for sure be coming back!!
