I gave this place another shot and I'm so glad I did. I had the best time singing karaoke and meeting the regulars. The bartender was super nice and knowledgeable. The loaded tots were so good!!!! As were the mozzarella moons and the marinara sauce.

I got off the bus on my way to go to JimmyThe Boxer. A guys was standing on the patio and I asked was the food good here. He replied yes and if you like tacos, try the shrimp or steak tacos, they are really good. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and Amaretto Sour. The total was less than $20. The drink was awesome, and the shrimp tacos.........whew. Did my spirit good. Food and service definitely will have me coming back! I forgot to take pic of the drink but included the tacos.

Usually the food is good. This time not so much. Got the quesadilla this time. Long wait for it, which I can understand, except that it came 15 minutes *after* another item ordered at the same time. Calling it lukewarm processed cheese between "whatever" would be an understatement. I like the folks that hang and run the place, but this was just terrible.

In town visiting friends for the holiday, and just went to this neighborhood place for the first time last night. It was perfect. I'm a fan of dive bars with great local folks, and this place did not disappoint. It's the type of place where the bartenders come back with their friends to hang out on their off days, which is the sign of a helluva place. Heavy pours, a welcoming crowd, and first-timer friendly. Can't get much better. Looking forward to making this my regular spot while I'm here in town!

Let me start with this; I love a great dive karaoke bar. I mean - I've seen more than my share, The Drinkery in Mt. Vernon, Walt's in Canton. I've loved them all. So when I found out about this place I was kinda jazzed.My husband and I dropped in about a half-hour before karaoke was to start on a Friday night. Thinks went sour immediately - ugh! When we walked in we were assaulted by a horrible smell, and as a former restaurant manager I knew just what it was: the smell of a floor that's been mopped with the same gross, dirty mop water All. Day. Long. It was awful.We should have turned around and walked right out but we paid for an Uber to get there so we ordered a drink while we decided what else to do. I ordered a top-shelf vodka with club soda & 2 lime wedges. What I got was my lovely vodka put in soda-water (just carbonated tap water, I was expecting club soda out of a bottle). It was icky, what a shame to do that to a nice vodka :( I didn't even drink it, we paid the bill and left on foot. We looked at the menu first but it was super-generic and the menus were filthy so... uh-uh.As a side note, I told the bartender about the smell (with the intention of helping) and he told me a friend of his said the same thing awhile back. Hrm.

I stopped in here for a quick beer this past Friday around 7pm. The place was very busy, only (2) spots left at the bar to sit but only one waitress. She was working her butt off but it still took over 15 minutes just to get a beer. I paid with a $20 and I saw she was leaving money at the register in efforts to batch a few orders on together I guess to save time. I finished my beer and still had not gotten my change. I had to get the waitresses attention and talk to her about it. She thought she gave it to me and she apologized. All in all I was there for 45 minutes and got one beer. Not her fault she was overwhelmed. I was trying to get out of there but it was taking forever. Maybe someone called out of work?

Nice chill spot. I went here with the mom and son on a Tuesday. We were just trying to waste some time before playing bingo (So we thought). It was just a little busy. The service was pleasant. Mom played keno while we waited for a food. The food came out in a timely matter and was pretty good. We just had appetizers. We stayed about an hour and decided that we would return later. Thought we were going to bingo afterwards but, we found out no bingo on Tuesday. LOL

Classic neighborhood bar...if that's what you're into. Looks a lot nicer inside than one would expect. I hear they renovated recently but I never went into the previous version. The "divey" exterior was one of the reasons it took me so long to go.I had the misfortune of going on karaoke night (Friday). I'm not one for this and typically try to avoid these nights if possible. We wanted to give this place a go and it happened to be Friday. Their version of karaoke seemed on par with other local bars like the Harp.All around okay. This place draws an older crowd. Some people come in to just buy a 6-pack and run out the door. So keep this place in mind if you need a beer pit stop.Give it a go and it might just become your go to.

Just can't say I've been a better 'lil place. Don't need to drink. Food is good. Prices fair. Louie and the crew take good care of you. And the entertainment.....just imagine a house full of semi-inebreated folks thinking they can sing karaoke.....don't get me wrong, some can and that is entertaining, but the ones that can't, now that's sheer entertainment, really. Come on out!!!!!

We observed a waitress blowing her nose with a napkin then handling food that someone had ordered while never washing her hands. That was the first time we went to to that place and will certainly be the last. The service we got was subpar from a waitress with an attitude. Don't waste your time at that over priced bar.
