Terrible place and disrespectful management. They asked us to leave during our game although we already paid for full hour because there is more important game is starting but they need the field ahead of time!!!! We were on time, not late, and when we argued, we were yelled at and disrespected. They don't care about your complains. I will never go there again and encourage you not to go. Nothing is worth being disrespected by nonprofessional management. And I didn't get a refund! I'm a telecommunication engineer, in my thirties, got yelled at, disrespected, got less what I paid for, not offered a refund and simply couldn't complain about the way I was treated. Don't go there. Save your money

Very disappointing all the way around. My daughter played in an indoor soccer session and the experience was almost enough to make many girls not want to play the sport anymore. We found that the primary focus of this facility is money and not sportsmanship or the sport itself. Rather than lose money when a group doesn't have enough teams they allow those teams to play teams who are less experienced making for extremely unfair match-ups & co-ed teams that were far from co-ed. From teams who were allowed to run up the score while being unsportsmanlike, refs who didn't pay attention, and an overall poor atmosphere - we will never play here again. Sports should be fun in a fun atmosphere. Freestate is not it.

Like the basketball courts, and soccer fields. The kids miss the old playground with ball pit area. Its now a lazer tag area. My older kids used to play in there for hours. My Younger kids love the bounce area. Both my younger boys play soccer here. Never any issues with the fields. In the winter it is a bit cold indoors. I do wish they owned the arcade games. I mean it sucks when you try to play a game and it takes your tokens. Then your stuck with the rest of your tokens because some of the other games wont accept them. But oh well other than the games. The kids like everything else.

We had a laser tag birthday party for our 9 year old. Perfect for the age group! Unlike some laser tag facilities, this facility does not use bulky vest and limit the kids to 15 minute sessions. Instead the kids got to run around inside the blowup maze/arena for an hour before sitting down for some pizza and cake. Teens may want something more serious but for the younger crowd this was great! The party rooms are more updated than the rest of the facility....and cost is good as they provide the plates, pizza, drinks, snack etc...costs you as much at home and no clean up required! Our 6 year old is looking forward to his Freezone party in November!

If you are looking for a place to play indoor soccer....keep looking. Leagues are money makers with no interest in your children. To make it worse....the referees are $22 per game and do about $2 worth of work.

I organize an indoor soccer team that plays in the coed rec league here and so far my experience has been positive. The administration could be a little better (getting registration information was a minor pain, and they're a bit slow putting schedules out) but none of the issues were serious. What I really like about Freestate is that they seem to do a good job of splitting their leagues into different difficulty levels. We used to play at the DuBurns Arena in Canton, but as a new & inexperienced team we were constantly getting crushed. The actual fields at Freestate aren't as nice as the one at DuBurns, and they have some odd rules in their coed league, but overall it seems like a fun league so far. They also put all game results online, which is a nice touch.

I had a FunZone/Laser Tag Party for my 12 year old, which is great for tweens and younger kids. The kids had the Laser Tag for an hour, and then FunZone for an hour, which the kids loved! Then you get 45 minutes for cake and eating. You get 2 assistants to help, so you can actually enjoy the party. My assistants, Julia and Nicole were awesome! They help set-up, serve, clean-up, supervised the kids in the play areas, took party pictures, and packed everything in my car when the party was over. I didn't have to anything but enjoy the party. I love it! Everything was provided (decorations, utensils, pizza, drinks, snacks, pictures). Everything was orderly, the area was clean, and the activities were organized.I liked that the party was private in that you reserve the play areas for your party alone and not have to worry about the play area being crowded with other parties. The staff was great! Judy was awesome! For all you get, you can't beat the price!

I would give it zero stars if possible. The facility is a dump, no heating or AC, the staff are unfriendly, the parking lot is trashed from 1980s paving that has been ignored, and the fields are poorly maintained. The "new" Director is the same as the owner- only concerned about taking your money. The soccer leagues are poorly run as they pair 15yo against 12-13yo kids. Avoid this place at all costs. Our Club has over 400 kids and they refused to negotiate a better rate even though we could fill the place year round. One of my boys suffered a concussion the game immediately after I expressed my concerns about mismatching age groups and poor officiating. Go elsewhere!
