Freddie's Sports Bar and Grill

In our continuing adventure to visit all the dive bars on Harford Road, we visited Freddie's Sports Bar and Grill last Friday.We sat at the end of the bar and had to wait a few minutes to order. They don't have a beer menu, so you will have to eyeball the drafts as you come into the bar. The music was loud old-skool hip hop, which I love. There was also some great R&B.They have two pool tables constantly occupied by players who had brought their own queues. It was fun to watch.I ordered the chicken quesadilla, the husband ordered wings and french fries. The chicken quesadilla was delicious, served with salsa and sour cream. The wings were a little dry but the fries were great.I was going to give Freddie's 4 stars until I woke up the next morning and saw the 18% gratuity charged to my bill. I had not seen it and had tipped 20% so my server got a large unintended tip. I will not be coming back to Freddie's but at least now I know how they roll.

The food was good, I had wings and a tossed salad this go round. However, their burgers are great also, and their lamb chops. The food itself always takes a while to come out however its never been a great issue if you're talking to someone or enjoying the big screen. The food and drinks are reasonable in cost, and there are happy hour items ; I was there last Sat around 2pm. The server was a bit slow, however friendly enough. However, slowness is a bit bothersome when you're ready to go and you want to pay the bill and go. They also have pool tables. If you don't play, it's fun to watch. There is light music playing in the background. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The patrons are friendly, and it's a diverse crowd. There is a parking lot as well as street parking.

Great bar food and stiff drinks. Definitely a local go-to once or twice a week. Good atmosphere, pool tables are jumping, sports are always on and music is always on. Bartenders are cool and have been there a while.

Decided to try Freddie's Sports Bar & Grill since I unexpectedly had a free night. The vibe is cool and the drinks are strongeth lol (I got a Long Island). There were probably about 30 people in there.Nice chill bar for the 25-45 year olds. It's apparently pretty popular for a Monday night. They played mostly rnb, rap, and oldies but goodies. They serve food, have pool tables, and have a free parking lot attached. I didn't eat while I was there but several people had food and said that it was good though the kitchen was a little slow bringing out the food.

I had a pretty nice time here. It was mis week. Not crowded at all. Bartender was friendly. The atmosphere was nice and laid back. The food and drinks were on point. I hear the vibe is also nice on the weekend. I hope to return on the weekend to check it out for myself. They also have pool tables for those who like to shoot pool.

Good atmosphere, good food, good looking people great places to get good food drinks on a weekday or weekend. Will definitely be back
