Excellent Chinese. I was pretty skeptical when my husband wanted to order from the menu in the mail. But I was willing to give it a try. Let me just say it's fantastic. I love their diet "steamed" menu. The food is excellent, large portions and very fast delivery. I highly recommend. They delivered to Davidsonville which is also plus. Give it a chance!We've ordered several of the chef specials and the combination plates. I frequently get the diet steamed options and get sesame sauce on the side. It's a great way to balance the desire for typical Chinese with steamed protein and vegetables.

I order here fairly often for lunch. Once a month or so. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food this is definitely not for you. This is your average american Chinese greasy spoon kinda place. It's good if you know what to order.My favorite things to order are the Chinese eggplant, chicken fried rice, and garlic broccoli. I've tried a few of the shrimp dishes. They were not my thing. However the chicken stuff has generally been good. The eggrolls are a little too doughy for me but I can see some people liking them. The price is good as the portions are huge. I often get about 4 meals worth of food for $20 and the leftovers taste good when reheated. My husband would probably make 2-3 meals out of a $20 order.Overall, this is not fine dining by any means but I'd like to see this place stick around. Does the trick.

We have lived in Heritage Harbor for several years and usually have delivery from Fortune House on Thursday nights.There was a time when the food wasn't as good but recently in the past several months they have stepped it up 100%!Everything has been fresh cooked delivered quickly and hot. I am writing this for my 85 year old father who really wanted this place to know this..."As a long time customer and a customer who would have given 4 stars every time, our meal this evening was really disappointing. The chicken was so overcooked and inedible. the ribs were all fat and the sauce was kind of disgusting. The hot and sour soup which is always one of my favorites didn't have it's usual delicious flavor.The crab rangoon was made with some type of dough that was more like a fortune cookie than the flakey delicious dough the crab rangoon is usually cooked in.The shrimp orders were almost all broccoli and the sauce had too much garlic and was gummy. I really hope what ever happened tonight never happens again.
