Been here a few times now for lunch, and never disappointed. There's a large overhead display for the menu and you order at the counter. They'll bring it out to you, and you can leave your dirty dishes at the table or stack them in a bus tub when they have it out. I've ordered their Chicken parm twice now. It is good, and even a "small" is 2 servings. When I've gone in groups, my lunch mates have ordered crab cakes (great reviews), Cheeseburger (mouthwatering), and individual pizza slices (choose from the ones displayed at the counter). My most recent order was baked ziti/penne, and it took me three servings to eat all of it. There was a lot of ricotta mixed in, and it was so good and creamy, and the dish itself was very flavorful. Definitely recommend.

This was a weekday visit, and we came here on the recommendation of a friend. They highly praised the cheesesteak, so we had to try it for ourselves.What I can say is that it is a very impressive one, fresh bread and loaded with meat, cheese on top, and also added in green peppers, no skimping here. A true delight.This was the full-size sub where half comes home with you.On top of this, we had 2 slices of pepperoni/mushroom pizza on a thin crust. Hot and fresh, very filling. Another very good find.How it works here for eat-in, is you order and pay at the counter, and they bring it out to you when ready. There are 2 chalkboards, 1 outside and 1 inside, letting customers know the specials.They have chilled wines, beer, and soft drinks available, along with a few desserts. Free refills.The interaction between the workers and owner (Sal) is a show in itself. We caught Sal in action, making pizza crusts from dough. You could tell he takes pride in his work.The dining room is basic, chairs and tables, not many frills except a few pictures of Italy.And only 1 TV, a welcome change from walls littered with sports TV.The customers really enjoy the salads and garlic knots, from what we noticed. I love to look at what other customers order. We will be back. It is a bit of a drive for us, but this visit was worth the effort.

I haven't been to a Fortunatos Pizzeria in many years. Stopped in the Edgewood location and it was better than I remember. Had the Fortunato Special Cheesesteak without the sauce and it was very tasty! The ability to select just one slice from the different pizzas available was great to satisfy the different tastes of our family!

My family moved from an army base in Germany out to Edgewood Arsenal when I was nine and Fortunato brothers (Sal's) has the last of the test of time with the same old fashion touch that I remember as a child. I used to always come up and get slices and used to like watching the guys behind the counter make the dough and toss it. The employees here have been here as long as I've been coming here has been a stable in the community for over 30 years. When my daughter was born in 05 I couldn't wait for her to get old enough to be able to start taking her with me. She would come every Friday and enjoy talking with Sal when he was here every day. So make sure to get into the restaurant I'd say as often as he can if he's not coming every day, but the quality of his food has only improved as he has adjusted his ingredients so that he's providing his customers with fresh ingredients, fresh herbs, wild catches, and now is Using, sir Lance a lot a high gluten flower never bleached never bromated this reduces the risk for type two diabetes or complications. Digestive issues reduces inflammation of the gut and cardiovascular disease which if you are seeing a cardiologist, I'm sure he's mentioned that it's not a good idea to be eating the bread anymore. I hope you're in Hartford County Edgewood Pulaski Highway stop and give it a try to his pizzas to the personality. Excellent service provided from the staff. That's been here like family since the beginning. I hope they're around so when my daughter has her kids she can bring them here as well. I hope this was helpful. I'm gonna add some pictures as I go pick up my once a week to slice order of his pepperoni sausage combination. It's a decent slice but better than most. Slices are generous in size. Service is typically good. Some days the slices are better than others.

We had always purchased food for take out, but this time we ordered 2 italian dishes. When we drove home and looked at the food we ended up throwing both out. The meat balls were like mush and inside 2 were still frozen.Spaghetti Pasta was soggy!! Never coming back!!!!!!

Got the seafood platter , It was very good . It had 6 shrimp and 2 crab cakes with it . The crab meat is from India , not Md , but it's fine . My only complaint is the crab cakes need more mayo in them and old bay seasoning .
