Amazing customer service! I usually have Flowers make my birthday cakes every year and they have never disappointed in flavor or design. Best choice for a great bakery!

This is located across from the 7-11 in Laurel in a weird, neglected shopping center with very little fanfare or attention or decor. The interior is small but has a great array of cakes, cupcakes, pastries, donuts, and other baked goods. The customer service was lackadaisical and off-putting, like I was bothering the employee for asking relevant questions about their items.I ordered two slices of cake to go, a grand marnier and a milk chocolate/white chocolate mix. They both tasted dry, unflavorful, and frankly not worth the $5.99 each. Boxed Duncan Hines cakes are better than this; truly a disappointing experience. I was so excited to try them because they looked incredibly delicious and well presented in the bakery! However, I will likely not return.

very quaint bakery/panaderia, nice staff, small but reasonably priced selection of baked goods/cakes/galletas. love this little local spot and def see myself coming back here. cookies are very affordable (1.25) as well as their cupcakes (2.25). come support this local business!

Saw this bakery when stopping by another place in the same area. I checked Yelp and saw several great reviews on it so I put it on my bucket list of places to try. One of my favorite places to visit. Good baked goods especially cake is my all time weakness. Nothing like a really good bakery which are few and hard to find. Finally made the visit recently. Greeted nicely upon entering. A nice appealing display of baked goods and good selections to choose from especially individual slice cakes. Bakery itself is cute and quaint. Nothing fancy. I decided to try the cookies since they had one of my favorite - coconut cookies( reg. ones not macaroons). See pics. I also decided to get a few others kinds to get an idea if it's worth coming back.Verdict - yes it is! The coconut cookie had a nice light coconut flavor nothing over powering with a delicate crisp. Nothing to crunchy or too soft. The other ones with rainbow sprinkles and also half chocolate coated with chocolate sprinkles had a light butter flavor with a delicate crisp. Then the apricot dot filling in the center also the same. All good and recommended. Prices are reasonable and standard for baked goods. Since I liked them so much I went back two days later for more and decided to try there custard filled and also a apple pastry. The girl working there said the pastry was soft but my experience was different. It was much crunchier than I thought and too bland for my liking. The Apple had a cinnamon sugar like sprinkled on top which adds a little flavor but still a naw for me. I've had these before at other bakeries so I'm familiar with what they're usually like. Lots of other things to try and several that I like very much so it won't stop me from coming. I recommend you do too. There full size cakes look really good. I look forward to trying when I had the occasion for needing one. Next visit will be to try the different slice cakes. Look out for my next review. In the meantime check out the pics I posted.

I order 8" cakes from Flowers pretty regularly for birthdays at my office. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, they always get my order right, and the cakes are a big hit with everyone who tries them. Personally, I also like the milk teas, iced coffee, assorted cookies, pain au chocolat, and some of the panderia treats. Overall, this is a great local gem. Definitely check them out.

Just stopped in for jannet's birthday cake! Called ahead to see if they had one available and showed up a bit later to pick it out. One of the best mango cakes around! Not alot of bakeries do mango cakes, but flowers does it well! They can even personalize a small message on top. Tons of other smaller slices of cake and pastries inside too! Exceptionally decadent cupcakes, and friendly wonderful service. Will definitely stop again next time I'm in town.

Caramel tres leches was delicious we will definitely be coming here to pick up for special celebrations!!

Very fresh and delicious cake. I would definitely come back again. They have many different types of cake. I can always order them in a week before.

The corsage flowers were old and wilted even though I ordered a week ahead. I don't think it was worth $40.00. It was prom day so I didn't take any chances on a re do.
