A great hole-in-the-wall restaurant!I sat at the counter, had a nice conversation with Gloria, and was served the best, straight forward Club Sandwich I've ever had.

Today was my first time visiting Flower Deli. My waitress, Ms. Gloria, was hospitable, personable, kind, and professional. She checked in on me frequently and was very polite for the entirety of my dining experience. This deli shop has a cozy and family friendly atmosphere. I will definitely visit Flower Deli soon!

A Neighborhood institution! This little deli is almost unchanged since I moved to the neighborhood in 1965. Originally owned and ran by a Jewish couple, the new owner has not changed much, including the decor and the menu. Prices are impossibly inexpensive and food is good, not gourmet quality, but for the most part fresh, and cooked well. Great pace fpr an inexpensive breakfast or lunch. I recommend one of their cheeseburgers along with a pile of fries, or one of their sub sandwiches. You can get a draft beer or a glass of wine for $2. Frequented by a culturally diverse clientele from the "Little El Salvador" neighborhood that has grown up around this shopping center. Beer and Wine for take-out, and plenty of parking in the lot next to the shopping center.

It's a greasy spoon diner and beer shop. The food prices can't be beat and if you want a beer at the bar for under 2 bucks, this is a decent place. They make a proper breakfast and I've never had issues with the staff and service. Been going for 5yrs and keep coming back. Go, you'll be pleasantly surprised...

Good food and cheap prices. The cheeseburger special is one of my faves. It comes with fries and coleslaw. Their breakfast is really good and really cheap.

They have cold brew by the bottle...wine as well and if your hungry go to the rear of the store for a simple club sandwhich or burger. Nothing fancy but somtimes I need good dinner fare fast. Breakfast is their best bet.

Ok, it's in the back of a small beer/wine store, not many tables and it can be hard to find an open space in the parking lot right in front but you won't find a better or cheaper breakfast anywhere in the area, nothing fancy but consistently good and three times cheaper then the upscale places in downtown takoma park

It doesn't look like much from the outside (or the inside, for that matter), but it's the real deal if you just want a quiet mom and pop diner experience. Real food, beer with breakfast if that's your thing, friendly servers, and it's cheap! I've lived in Takoma Park for 8 years and seen many changes -- and l've been pleasantly surprised that Flower Deli hasn't changed one bit. On a Sunday morning you'll find cops, seniors, and families here and best of all, no hipsters. If you hate the DC brunch crowd and overpaying for eggs, this is your place.
