Horrible.... I guess they changed cooks and recipes on 09/13/18. I was shocked how nasty it smelled, and how the chicken was prepared.

Its been awhile since I did a review but this place has brought me back. So here we go. Welcome back to me. I have never ordered from a jamaican cuisine place before. So when my boss offered I said sure I'll try it. And once o got it the bread stuck out to me. I cut it in half and it looked okay for a sandwich. But the taste was amazing the bread pepper jerk chicken mix was worth it. I dont regret this at all. And as far as price goes you cant go wrong. And yes it is actually filling. I will be getting this again. Worth the money.

I got the curry chicken and jerk chicken mixed. It was a tad bit pricey compared to other Jamaican restaurants, however it was really good so I didn't mind paying the money. The chicken, rice and peas were great. The cabbage needs a Lil more work.Overall it was delicious and I will be back!

NEVER EVER AGAIN EVER. I placed a Door Dash order. I ordered a king fish meal with rice peas and cabbage. The restaurant called and said they would add shrimp because the fish was small. Here is the thing. That fish should not have been sold to anyone. They should have said they were out of king fish. This fish was slightly larger then a 50 cent piece. Put your finger and thumb together and open it a tiny bit. That's how much fish they tried to give me and it was a end piece not center cut like other restaurants give. Come on now. You have to have some integrity in businesses. The rice was dry and the cabbage was all stem. This was a disaster meal and the reason why I only patronize 1 Caribbean restaurant in Baltimore. I tried a different one and got this foolishness. I call and someone offered to refund the meal. Maybe they will maybe they won't but They won't get another coin from me.

This is the way a large curry chicken with peas and rice and cabbage was delivered costing 13.00+. Rice and cabbage both over cooked. I'll just leave this here and let you decide if it's worth it.

I had the curry chicken & it was just ok. The rice & peas were a little dry & the chicken barely had meat on the bone. It was seasoned nicely though. The coco bread was soft, hot & buttery. I may try something else on the menu.

DO NOT TRUST ANY OF THESE PEOPLE'S TASTEBUDS!!! If you have real island flavor running through your blood and know what real Caribbean food taste and look like- more specifically what good Jamaican food tastes like...you'd know that the food here is a big disappointment. Trust! I didn't judge based on one dish. Aside from the fact that the person at the register always sounds like he has marbles in his mouth and took some NyQuil before work - the customer service is 'okay' = two stars The food tho - the cook must be back there mad, upset or something. Cuz salt is his or her best friend - forget the spices..it seems as if they throw the spices (poor scotch bonnet, poor onion and thyme) and basin out the window = everything on your plate might taste the same...rice taste like cabbage / cabbage tastes like the rice and meat...one big ole bowl of food drenched in colored salt water. I've tried here multiple times. I've tried the meat options and wasn't impressed but my spouse is a vegetarian and we decided to give the veggie options a try. Unfortunately, the review given goes for both the meat and veggie dishes because of how disappointing the vegetarian options were as well - I don't mean to be harsh but being a foodie I hate wasting money on food I could have cooked better at home.Fiyah Island Grill is almost like drinking fake coconut water - you'll love it until you actually taste the real thing. Stop drinking fake coconut water...the real thing awaits you - you'll taste the difference. Trust me!

I had the curry chicken! It was pretty good, they give you a large portion. Towards the middle of the dish I could taste like cumin or something with a cinnamon like flavor. A little weird for my palate but the food was overall pretty good. I would go back and try a different dish for sure.

I love their food and am addicted to the Jerk Salmon but here lately I've been really disappointed. The salmon has been overcooked (burned and hard on the bottom today) and the rice is mushy. I think I'll just quit at this point.

I can tell that they recently changed cooks. Quality of food is not the same as it was a couple months ago. When I order jerk chicken and say dark meat, I want dark meat and not white meat. They seem to not really care anymore and through whatever in the box. The checker looks like it was warmed up from yesterday's left overs and more sauce pored on it. I tried giving benefit of the doubt, but it's been this way for the 4 or 5 orders. I think I'm done with this spot.

Horrible food, not what I expected. Food looked like it was raw and covered in sauce.
