First Sergeant's Smoked BBQ

My colleague recommended this place. It is inside the recreation center. Can park across the street to the south of the building. I enjoyed a catfish sandwich with sweet potato rings. My colleague also enjoyed their lunch. Cheerful staff and a military decor! They are serving items that are not yet on the online menu.

First Sergeant's has the best fried fish! I always come by for Fish Fry Friday. I ordered Fried Fish. The catfish platter with white bread of course. Large portions, so it's worth every penny. The decor is totally appropriate. Love the military service theme decorations. I brought a few of my coworkers by, and even during the lunch rush everything came out fast. The catfish hit the spot. Great customer service, no wonder it's a big hit within the community. Five stars

Consistently tasty food. Friendly service by the staff - who are all related to the owner, David. The success of this business is their legacy, so they're personally invested. I'm obviously a regular customer.

Been stationed at APG for a couple years now and I love First Sergeant's. I typically eat here at least once a week, great food and even better service! The pulled pork BBQ sandwich is my go-to! Definitely recommend that you check them out for yourself!

The food at this place is pretty good. I love their seafood, and the owner and his daughter are pretty nice. I usually get catfish, or the pulled pork barbecue fries; which are amazing. I miss this place and trust me you'll enjoy the food and atmosphere at this BBQ Joint.

The catfish platter with shrimp was really good. The cornbread was incredible. I need to come back to try the barbecue, but it sure smelled great. If you didn't know it was there you'd never find it, but it's worth the effort. Lots of people, and the food takes a bit of time, but my fish was clearly straight out of the fryer - pipping hot and crispy.

This place is amazing. I wish it was open on the weekends. Everything on the menu is good. You can't go wrong. As a chef in the military and civilian side I have no complaints.

Every chance we get we go to 1SG GRILL. always pleasant. Delicious food. Fried fish, fries, and fried okra all time favorites. Cakes are delicious too. Oh you just gotta try this place. And they cater too

This is my go to spot when I want dinner really good food on lunch!! The fried fish is so good!! If you haven't been here - go!

This place is excellent never had a bad meal I call ahead pick up lunch and roll out in minutes. BBQ, veggies, dogs, tea and all things southern are great. Definitely try you won't be disappointed!
