Firehouse Tavern

Came here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the good food and fun atmosphere. They have a jukebox box, pool tables, and a pretty big bar. I got honey old bay wings and potato skins with crab dip. The potato skins were delicious! Crab dip was perfectly made. And the wings were super crispy, although they needed a bit more old bay. My gf got a Mac attack burger and fries. The burger was dry and the Mac and cheese was clearly kraft brand lol. But the fries were sooooo good. They reminded me of boardwalk fries. Overall we had a good time and received great service.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Great burgers and wings! Cute place with a very relaxed feel.

Most of the patrons are friendly. However, beware of the few who are natural-born racists. Furthermore, the employees like management will ignore the ignorance that some "regular" customers receive. Management staff are presumptuous who lack empathy and are undoubtedly unprofessional. They allow select customers to sit where they want, do what they want and say whatever they want. The bartenders (manager- Stephanie) will not clean the bar area when asked, she sits outside and smokes cigarettes for extended periods of time. The floor under the bar area is never cleaned, bar top always sticky and you will hear bartenders complain when they feel they are under tipped by other patrons. I have seen mice and other rodents scampering from the dumpster to the open door where the kitchen is located. I have been there when they have had no hot water and the bartenders boyfriends or husbands are always in there probably getting slipped free drinks at their leisure. If you go there in the afternoon on any day, there are always 3-4 bar seats reserved for the regulars. I wander what the tip looks like daily to get those seats. Maybe they are paying a flat weekly rate for those seats. LolIf they don't like you, you may get a shot in a mini-plastic cup or if they do like you it will come in a huge shot glass. Oh and if it's a slow day, they will adjust your tab for a lesser price to increase their tip. Did I mention one of the bartenders has a frequent flyer card from the local jail? What a place! Never ever again!!!!I can't wait until the place sells with new owners because they need to fire everyone there for the exception of Sammy the cook. Everyone else there will throw any customer under the bus if they don't like you, what a bunch of people I wish i never met. But then again, what more do you expect low class and low rent establishment. That is all. You all have a good day now.

You can not go wrong with any selection off of the menu. I strongly recommend the Bay Chicken. The Fish and Chips are also very good. They have a nice variety on the menu. They also serve

The Firehouse Tavern is a hidden gem for food in Parkville. The atmosphere is very casual and the staff very friendly. I have been there on several occasions and have never been disappointed. We decided to order take out today. Usually something gets messed up when we do this, but not here. All eight orders were perfect....and delicious. I ordered the hot turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy...it was enough for at least two meals...maybe three. The chef salad is crazy huge and only costs $13! All their food is fresh not frozen, huge portions and reasonably priced. Stop by Firehouse for great food, live entertainment or Sunday Karaoke!

Well, I went back to the Firehouse (dummy me) yesterday. I guess since I complained last time they decided to not even bother to wait on me. That's right no one ever came over even with four people visible behind the bar. Maybe they all were not bartenders. But surely they all worked there. Saved some money. Maybe you're like me and may not be who they want as customers, if you know what I mean. See ya!

Had the pleasure of having brunch here on Christmas Eve. After doing a bit of last minute shopping it was time to fill the bellies. I was a little shocked that there were more people inside than I expected. We were seated at the bar. However it did take longer than it should have been to be seated. Even when the bar maid did come to bring us the menu she was still chatting with another co-worker instead of tending to her customer. This was starting to decrease her tip already. Do we started with drinks and then placed an order for two entrees. Not bad on the turn around time in receiving the food. Chicken Chesapeake was some kind of delicious. This place has great prices if you are on a budget. You get nice sized portions and the food is great. Drinks were ok. Not to over powering. I am willing to return just hope next time the bar maid is more attentive.

SEPT 20/23 I go in with few friends , which we've been going there for years . Sit down and the barmaid KELLY accuses me of not paying a bill a week or so prior and refuses to serve me !!!!! Kelly was so nasty with humiliating and accusing me in front of everyone especially when it was not me !!!! , so I said I'll call the police and get this cleared up real quick and let's see the cameras bc it was very embarrassing and she was so nasty and loud and then says well whoever it was had the same hair as me " are you kidding ... Apparently she was more worried about the police coming . This place has no costumer service for one,, then to have an employee make a seen accusing you of not paying in front of everyone from a week or so prior was real wrong !!!! Supposedly there's cameras everywhere , so why not have a pic of whoever that was ?? YOU DON'T ACCUSE SOMEONE & HUMILIATE A CUSTOMER !!! TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!I'd be embarrassed to have a employee/ barmaid working for me that treats customers the way she did Kelly was one miserable barmaid .Way better places than firehouse to go to & never will I go back and will put the word out and I filed a report on this place !!!!!!TERRIBLE PLACE !!!

A hidden gem. Excellent neighborhood bar and restaurant. Good selection of draft beer, full menu and well prepared tasty food. Highly recommend for a drink and/or a meal.

I just left there. I was there from 8:10 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The bartender waited on one person that came up to the bar. While we sat there she cleaned off catching bottle ketchup bottles that were on the shelf behind the counter, she washed a rag out for it seemed like 2 minutes as we sat there the whole time and was never acknowledged. I have no idea why we were not acknowledged since we were sitting there with no drinks in front of us. But I have been in there several other times and this bartender has ignored us. I let it go until now because I thought maybe she was just busy but clearly she did not want to wait on us and I have no idea why since we always tip really well and try to be very nice. My brother is handicapped so he has trouble getting in and out so we walked all the way in there and then could not get waited on. And we came all the way from Baltimore City to come out here for the wings. Here we go I just think that 20 minutes is a long time to not be acknowledged. If she would have been waiting on other customers then I would totally understand but she was not. It honestly felt like she was trying to totally ignore us because she did not come over to the side of the bar at all at all while we were sitting there without anything.
