Let me first say that I frequent this business a lot, especially this summer because they carried my husband's favorite summer beer, Natty Boh Day Beer. Today, I came in to purchase a red cab sauv for my friend's birthday. A really nice older lady asked me if I needed any assistance and I explained to her what I was looking for. I know that there are several brands of this, so I assumed someone could point me in the right direction and then I could choose from there. She didn't know, so she asked an older male who appeared to be the manager. He didn't seem to understand her, so he asked me, very rudely, what I was looking for. I replied that it was my friend's birthday and her husband recommended for me to get her a red cab sauv. Disgustingly, he said that they have over 2000 red cabernets and he doesn't understand what I'm looking for. That's when I decided it would be best for me (sadly) to take my business somewhere else. The attitude and tone of voice that I experienced from this male was enough for me to take my business somewhere else. I have had no issues with this business until today and have recommended so many friends, family members, and co-workers to visit this place because they always seem to have what I need. I wish that I could let this blow past me, but for someone to treat me the way that I was treated, especially in front of my child, was enough to push me away. I went to Edgewater Liquors after this incident and the employees there were extremely helpful. They helped me choose a perfect wine for my friend and even wrapped it for free. I really hope that no one has to encounter this type of rude behavior like I did.

This wine/liquor store is tucked away in the corner of the Riva Festival shopping center. It has a huge selection of wine but they also have regular liquor and beers as well. I like going here because their wine selection is reasonably priced and easy to find what you are looking for. The staff is friendly and they don't make you feel weird or rushed when you are browsing. They know it's hard to decide!

Inventory is decent. I received attitude about a drink that I didn't see on the shelf at one time and was criticized for my taste. MOST OF ALL my girlfriend has been followed to her car on two separate occasions by two different employees when refusing their help asking for dates and phone number. Creepy men in this joint. Don't bring your girls guys.

This has never been my go to spot but I have been in here countless times over the years with fairly neutral feelings other than its a little pricey. The selection is good and they do offer coupons, and those are the "pluses". After my last visit I am going to have to agree with some of the other reviews regarding their staff and service. I won't drone on, but the staff who are usually working just ooze smugness and indifference and I felt like every question I had was met with some element of attitude. I left with a bad taste in my mouth after dropping a few hundred bucks on a holiday stock up.

Convenient location, personal service and a decent selection of beer and liquor in Annapolis. The staff was friendly, but admittedly couldn't answer all my questions about their products. Relatively simple questions like "what's the difference between this one and this one?" Much better at "do you carry this one" type questions. Microbrew selection was decent, but random-feeling. The woman who stocks the beer admitted to not being a beer drinker, which explains the strange combinations. A-OK!

Very rude female clerk. Told my 4 yr old son to stand by "your parent" because he was playing with his 7yr old sister (within 15' of me) Nothing crazy. As if I raised a savage......Will never go back.

This was my favorite 5 star store until today. They refused to honor the sale price marked with a handwritten 'Summer Sale' sign on the rack. Rather than honor the marked price, they (2 of them) told me to go get a different wine if I would not pay list. They were too lazy to even verify it. There are plenty of other shops who honor their prices so no need to shop here again. It's about trusting them to ring the right price and to correct mistakes made.

I really like this place. The selection isn't enormous, but it meets my needs. Plenty of California wines, but what I personally like is that they stock a good variety of chiantis. I'd like to see their scotch selection improve, but they have most of the major players. For me, the craft beer selection is okay because they stock some good local IPAs, but the selection could definitely be better. Everyone in there has always been friendly with my wife and I. It's my liquor store of choice in the area.

I spent the afternoon working at Festival Wine & Spirits for a Bourbon tasting event. I was a bit thrown off by a few negative reviews I had read before I went in, but honestly Debra could not have been nicer. She was super professional, had everything set up before I got there and offered her help throughout the day. I was impressed watching her work with both the regular clientele as well as first timers trying to find exactly what they were looking for. The store has a great selection, the employees are fairly knowledgeable and if I lived in the area it would definitely be my go to store! The other gentleman working that day (Mike?) was also very helpful and super polite. Please don't let a few negative reviews hinder you from stopping by this gem of a store in the corner of this busy shopping center!
