I had an amazing time celebrating my friend's Muthaf'n Buuuurday at Famous. The staff was very accommodating to things I needed to male this Hollywood event special. The food was delicious & DJ Lady D did the damn thang on the 1 & 2s. There was a mixed grown & sexy with youthful crowd. This lounge is #BarbieMonroeApproved

Stopped by Famous Lounge last Saturday night to have a drink with friends and I was blown away. The wings were amazing! So crispy and delicious. Drinks were done well and quickly. Everyone was having a great time. We even had hookah for the table. We will definitely be back the food was so delicious I am looking forward to trying out some other items on the menu. You can also order food for pick up. I can't wait to go back! I was too busy eating that I forgot to get pictures.

I recently came here on a Monday for Happy Hour and had a great time. The happy hour menu has both food and drink specials. The drinks are well priced and strong! There are only 5 food items on the happy hour menu. The only thing I had a taste for was the suya but it was a little tough and chewy. I think I'll try the wings next time. It was also karaoke night so that was entertaining to watch. I definitely will be back for Happy Hour soon.

Famous Lounge is always a safe option and one of my favorite HH spots in the Upper Marlboro area. This is a new spot as of 2021-2022 - it has a lounge vibe with DJ + music, lights, and sections with couches and tables.Their happy hour is the best draw; their specials are everyday from 4-8 (including Saturday and Sunday!). Enjoy $8 cocktails including rum punch, margaritas, and long islands. Be careful, these drinks are STRONG! Wine and beer are also discounted starting at $6ish. There are a number of food options including wings, chicken tenders, and suya that are between $9-13 which are all delicious. They have alot of activities going on throughout the week; Mondays are karaoke, Wednesdays and bingo, and Saturdays + Sundays are brunch. I haven't tried out Wednesday bingo yet but it's on my list.The bar is a little on the small side (sits maybe 10), so if you're looking for a quick drink I recommend getting there by 5-5:30 on a weeknight and by 6 on a weekend. Fortunately, you can also get the happy hour specials while sitting in the lounge/couch spaces. The spot starts to get a pretty crowded and much louder starting around 9; so if that's not your thing, enjoy HH then be on your way before the crowd hits.A few areas of improvement: the drinks can be inconsistent based on who's making it. It seems as though the bartenders have varied levels of experience - we've received a variety of quality tasting drinks. The waitstaff are all friendly but sometimes they could be more attentive to the customers - flagging someone down to make an order can be a task.Will definitely be back for happy hour!

Best buffet style brunch I've had. Everything on the setup was delicious! We were pleased and stuffed. Not to mention the staff was very friendly and helpful. The DJ was on point. Started the morning relaxed with some r&b and built up to throwback gogo and good line dancing to work off that delicious food.

My first Famous experience was epic. The whole place was a vibe. The drinks were hitting right. The DJ was grooving, 2 thumbs way up. However the last couple of times I went, there has been a significant decline. The chicken tenders are still on 100. But, the crowd has definitely thinned out. The grown and sexy vibe has been replaced with something that I would deem as a bit more basic, common, current at the expense of quality. It's still a chill spot if you're like me and come equipped with your own vibe and a decent social circle. It's just not as infectious and widespread as I remember my maiden voyage being. Hopefully some updates/renovations can bring the place back to its former glory.

I appreciate having Famous in the area. There's not a lot of restaurants that stay open after 9pm unless you're driving 20+ minutes away. The food is good and so are the drinks. I always have the best service and Sunday brunch is a vibe!

I am always trying to figure out how to have a good time without driving into DC. Well this is it, this is the place. I recently reconnected with an old friend and he suggested this place. It's interesting because when he had mentioned it, I recognized the location but not the name. Upon arrival, I realized I had been there before, but I wasn't sure it was the same place.This visit was pretty good. We went for Happy hour. There were plenty of parking spaces (always a plus). There was security at the door. When you walk in, it gives night vibes even though we went around 4:30/5. We were able to sit at a table along the wall.Our server was great, she was on it with everything we needed. We didn't feel rushed at all, but they did let us know our seats were reserved at 9PM. Again, we were there pretty early and it's very rare I go from day to night lol.I ordered whiskey and ginger ale. My friend ordered food. I had just ate, so I stuck with drinks and a vibe. He ordered a burger and wings.I will definitely be back. The one thing we wished they had that we didn't see was hookah.

Visited Famous Lounge Dec 7th and sat at the bar, ordered a drink minutes later noticed a COCKROACH crawling up the wall behind the bar. I had planned on ordering food from this establishment and so glad I didn't!
