The service is not good. There were at least 2 people working in the deli area. I waited several minutes before one of the deli workers finally turned her head and saw that I was waiting. Neither of them actively payed attention to see if there were customers waiting. I wanted to get fish, but there was not that much left of it. I asked one of the people working at the deli if they had another fish. She disappeared, and I waited several more minutes before another person at the deli decided to help me. The 2nd person was arguing with me about the fish because I told her that I didn't want the end of the fish. She still gave me the end of the fish. However, she still ended up slicing a fresh new fish because there was barely anything left of the first one. I am not happy that I got the end of the fish that I didn't want in the first place. They put profits ahead of providing good customer service.

I moved with my family to Reisterstown in 1994 and I have always taken the existence of Euro Deli for granted. When I was growing up my grandpa would go there to buy herring, but I never went with him or gave it much thought. Fast forward a bit, and my friend, whose husband is from Russia, bought me delicious Russian chocolates as an engagement gift last year and then again this year for Valentine's Day. I had time to kill during my lunch break today and decided to check it out for myself once and for all. The store is small but packed with all kinds of interesting goodies! There are a lot of Russian foods, I'd say about 90% of it is probably Russian, but I saw a few other products with labels in different languages, as well. There was a huge variety of products on the shelves - your standard fare canned and jarred goods, produce in cardboard boxes and (non-alcoholic) beverages. There is a LOT of chocolate, and a lot of it is loose and weighed by the pound (at only $6.99 per lb!) What I love about the Russian chocolates is that it is a total guessing game (so a bad idea for folks with a nut allergy). The vast majority of the chocolates have no English translation, and while some will have a helpful demonstrative (like a picture of a piece of fruit or nut), others are in wrappers with obscure pictures of things like ballerinas, babies or dogs. Every bite is a surprise! There are a lot of meats, especially salami, and a lot of fish. They have some prepared salads and foods, though I had to google what most of them were (headcheese?). They also had a little bakery with some really nice looking cakes! The downside is, of course, this is kind of a difficult place to shop if you don't speak Russian. Most of the signs are in Russian, and everyone there spoke in Russian, as well. That is what helps keep it authentic, though, I guess. Also I went to check out and there were only two people in front of me but I still had to wait about ten minutes. But the biggest issue I have - THE LOCATION. What a pain in the arse that parking lot is, and making that turn on Reisterstown Road can be annoying depending on traffic and time of day. Recommended for people looking to check out cool ethnic groceries or authentic Russian goods!

Very quaint, authentic Russian/polish store! Most of the staff does not speak English, but most of the customers don't either, so it makes sense. I love how they have individually wrapped candies at the front of the store. It seems a little pricey per over. but it's so worth it! I will definitely be back to try more things!

I love finding gems in my city!So I walked into to Euro's after getting my nails done and was immediately invited to try some of the delicacies by the owner! I'm so glad I did! There was a cheese puff ball with raisins which gave me food chills it was so good. It was fluffy, sweet and crispy! All Russian! But my favorite was a fish, carrots and onion dish that was a mixture of sweet and salty that made me know without a doubt I will be back! Great customer service too!

I love it. It's true that the employees won't smile or say hello, and they wouldn't let your kid use the bathroom, but that only adds to the awesomeness and authenticity. For the price of just driving there you will get to travel back in time and over the Atlantic to the Soviet Union. I buy up literally all the black bread they have every time I go there. It's an hour drive but I do it regularly!

The Russian influence in the Baltimore county area is undeniable. Luckily, there is a small grocery store to stock up on ethnic and authentic Russian/eastern european goodies. Trust me on this, going into some Russian grocery stores can be daunting and almost frustrating for people who don't speak Russian. Euro Deli always has staff who can speak english to help you with items behind the deli counters.Products at Euro Deli range from various types of imported cheese including Edam cheese and REAL feta, to an assortment of smoked and cured fish, to a plethora of salamis and other charcuterie. There is also a wide array of authentic caviar for various palettes and price ranges. The cheeses, meats and fishes are all substantially less expensive than mainstream corporate grocery stores - like half price cheaper and better!Where Euro really stands apart from other comparable grocers is its prepared food section. I usually just point to the items that look good, so I really don't know the names for most of the food items. You will see a lot of the Russians classics though including excellent chicken and pork kebabs (with pickled onions and dill), savory pastries with ground lamb and cumin, puffed pastry with hot cheese, meatballs and plenty more. There are a lot of cold salads and spreads as well, which always look appetizing. Amongst the other products in the store, too many to really describe, there is also fresh store baked black bread (borodinsky bread), which is sold while still hot - it is amazing! In short, this place is really great and so much easier than going than going to Giant or Safeway. It is still small so it is not a one stop shop, but they have goodies you can't find anywhere else.

I always have been craving to find out what euro deli offers to customers, while I was waiting for my car service at Jiffy lube, I figured this would be the best time to check this place out! This store is fulfilled with all Russian (soviet union) products, Many of products are labeled in Russian so I was not able to read it I was debating wether I want it or not! : D This is a small semi clean shop with good selection and prices! The service was friendly and helpful not to mention they have big selection of sweets and deserts! I will come back for more!

Since the new management took over, service aspect went downhill. Staff no longer finds it necessary to greet customers, not even a simple "hello". No eye contact, no thank you at the end of transaction. You would think I was back in the USSR. With so many other Russian stores in the area, you would think they would try harder.
