Popped into the shop couple of hours before they close to grab some after dinner sweets and we were not disappointed.Our favorites were the honey butter and maple drizzle, not a big fan of the blueberry or other fruity flavors, just a personal preference, doesn't mean they are not good. Since all of their mochi donuts are delicious and tasted very buttery. $3.5 for a single donut is not cheap, it gets cheaper the more you buy. The young adults working in the shop were efficient, did not see any smiles on their faces but figured it is towards the end of the day already, that tiredness probably caught up to them. The shop looks fairly clean, with casual atmosphere and it is located in one of the small strip malls near old town Ellicott City, parking can get crowded but still have availability. Definitely recommend by @WindDinenVacay

I wanted to try something different for a birthday "cake" and came upon this spot. It's located at the corner of a small business center. They had a plethora of flavor options for their mochi. I ended up getting a half dozen and each one was delicious. I gifted them to my husband for his birthday and it was hard for him not to eat the whole box lol The mochi donuts were very soft and the perfect sweet treat.

The flavors seem to rotate and they also offer different batch sizes depending on what you're looking for. It's a very cute spot located in the corner of a strip mall. There's not much seating inside if you're trying to dine there.

Their mango passionfruit tea is great! Very different from other places as they have a sort of pulp at the bottom. Besides that, their Korean corn dogs are also very tasty. I'm not a big fan of sweets, but their mochi donuts were alright too. Staff are friendly and the the space is small, but works out as most people purchase and leave.

A small but bright shop tucked away in EC. It was pretty empty so service was quick, and the employee even brought us our order to the table. I tried the blueberry cream cheese mochi donut. The flavor was good but I didn't get much of a cream cheese flavor. It was soft and chewy as a mochi donut should be, and wasn't oily like some other places I've had it at. My bf got a buldak corn dog and oh boy, it was spicy. Although it was suuuuper spicy and painful after every bite, he couldn't stop eating it. You can either get it with half hot dog half cheese or all cheese. The corn dog is coated with crushed up ramen pieces and doused in the buldak sauce. I wanted to try the ice cream (and thought it would help with the spicy corn dog) so we asked for a sample which wasn't a problem. The soft serve was really good, specifically the mango flavor, so we got a cup. It was a soft sorbet kind of ice cream-- very refreshing and sweet. It paired well with the creamy vanilla flavor. But, I didn't like the vanilla flavor on its own, so I'd only get it as a swirl to complement the mango. They also have a promotion where if you leave a google review, you can get free Korean makeup items. It seemed like mostly The Creme Shop items.

ELLI MochiI have been wanting to try mochi donuts near where I live since coming back from my trip to Hawaii where these shops are found in abundance.For those who wish to try a lighter, less sweet and lower caloric treat that will still satisfy that sweet tooth, I would highly recommend you try mochi donuts! The main ingredient is made with rice flour so perfect for gluten free restrictions.This shop is a bit hidden in the plaza it is located but worth a visit. The mochi donuts were displayed in an attractive case and there were several flavors to choose from. They are a bit more expensive than a regular donut but the quality of the ingredients comes shining through. They do have a shorter shelf life and it is recommended to eat them on the day of purchase but I placed my donuts in an airtight container and kept them in the refrigerator overnight and they were still delicious to eat the next day.By the way, they also serve corn dogs that come with different coatings along with bubble tea. But I will have to save a review for those treats on another visit. The staff were very helpful and the shop was well lit and clean. They also have a small outdoor area to sit and eat if that is preferred. Parking is easy.
