El Sopon Mexican and Salvadoran Food Truck

Took my husband over the weekend and the food was just as good the second time around! Love the tacos, got 2 carne & 1 pastor. We got 3 pupusas, 2 revuelta & 1 cheese. They were pretty big and came with curtido & salsa. Everything was delicious. My husband had the horchata and loved it!

Cannot believe I've driven by this place so many times and haven't been! The tacos are a decent size and price, the salsa verde is SO delicious, and the cheese pupusa was so cheesy and doughy. I will absolutely continue to come here! The woman working was so sweet and service was fast. Definitely recommend!!

Good, authentic food at reasonable prices. Love eating here. The people who run the truck are nice. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes Mexican/Salvadoran food!

Amazing Birria tacos do not sleep on this place! I e driven by many times and finally decided to stop. We ordered ahead on the phone and food was ready when we got there in ten minutes. They have some outdoor tables we sat at to eat but you could also pick up and take out. It's a roadside truck, great for pick up or a casual picnic.

I happened to be in the area craving tacos and pupusas, and this spot delivered and then some!! Customer service was on point from the moment I called to place my order, and it was ready and waiting for me when I drove to their truck. Super friendly and down-to-earth staff, and as you can see in the pictures, the portions are great - more than one tortilla per taco to help keep it all together, plenty of sauces and toppings for both the tacos and the pupusa that I ordered. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, though hands down my favorite one was the steak taco. I will definitely show support again when I'm in the area - those birria tacos are calling my name next time!

You guys know I'm a sucker for food trucks! I've been wanting to check out El Sopon for a while so I decided to treat myself for lunch.Located in Elkridge, they're known for their Mexican & Salvadoran food. It's been super hot (oof) so I treated myself to some horchata to start. It was REALLY tasty and refreshing - perfect for this weather As for mains, I couldn't decide between pupusas and birria so I decided to get both, lol. Hey, I'm always happy to eat leftovers so I figured why not In addition to birria tacos (omg the beef was so tender), I got 1 cheese (SO much cheesy goodness) & 1 pork pupusa, and they came with pickled slaw. I liked everything I got, but I thought the pupusas were better than the tacos! 10/10 recommend. I'd definitely go back

A plethora of taco options in the area, but I have to say that you get an authentic feel not only from the food, but also from speaking to the owner - super humble man that has a passion for cooking delicious foods and serving them to people like me. The food? Marvelous. Expect the usual tacos, except bigger portions and fresh! They also provide a stick of lime per taco (not the usual 2 sticks per order). Their horchata is also great due to its smokey flavor. Something most places can't do.There's a genuineness you get from this place and it's non-replaceable. Amazing people, amazing food, no complaints, just happiness.

Sooo good!! Great service from the nice lady in the food truck and so much flavor! I ordered 15 min ahead and it was ready when I got there. Plenty of parking available and right off the road.

Delicious birria tacos and one of the few places in the area that does chicken birria! Great service as well definitely give them a try
