El Sabor Latino

This spot is totally off the beaten path. When you're on Powder Mill, there's a side road you can turn on, and it's pretty industrial -- and El Sabor Latino is just there! They have a shelf with snacks and a menu above the counter to order -- though no prices are listed. They do mostly speak Spanish there, but they can definitely speak English if you're truly rusty. I personally love an excuse to practice! I decided to order a baleada and pupusas and they took abotu 10-15 minutes. I made a Costco run while waiting, and when I returned, they were ready. I ate them when I got home, and they were fantastic! I'm just getting into baleadas, and they're truly one of my favorite Latin breakfast foods. If you've never had one, it's kinda like a Honduran (by origin) breakfast quesadilla. And the pupusas... just, yes. I had a loroco and frijole one. The cabbage was on point, as was the sauce. They have some combo platters to try, so I'll get those the next time I go!

This spot has THE BEST Salvadoran food ever ! By far one of my favorite spots, the breakfast makes you feel like home. The employees are kind and welcoming I'm so happy I found this place ! Finally came to Sabor Latino of Beltsville. It's a small restaurant serving homemade Latino food that is affordable and tasty. I paid 9.99 for the Yuca con chicharrones. I only ate half the food because it was a large portion. It was definitely tasty. I also ordered a horchata that was also refreshing. I definitely want to come back to try the pupusas and bisteck encebollado.

I work near this restaurant and was always cautious to try it: it's not very easy on the eyes. After hearing my coworkers rave about the food, I gave in.The chicken burrito was huge, fresh, and delicious. Lots of staff in the kitchen so everything is fast.I highly recommend this for lunch. It is always crowded.

Good take out place! Best Tacos de lengua that I have tried in this area. The cashier was very attentive. The place is not good to dine in but it is a great takeout.

I got to try this place thanks to my boss, he brings us breakfast tortas with carne asada sometimes and they're so good ! The breakfast tortas come with carne, egg, beans, and avocado. I'm curious to try more food from them now, maybe their pupusas ?

Food Authentic, prepared fresh fast service. Tacos are nice size full of meat. Well seasoned Employees are very friendly. A+++

Very good selection, friendly staff and really great prices for the big portions they give. Taste just like moms cooking. 10/10 I highly recommend. Not the best place to dine in, we usually take-out because it can get very crowded.

The pictures will do this restaurant no justice. This is by far the best Latino food I've ever had in the DMV. I went in by chance because I was hungry and I was waiting on a paint job. I am so glad I stumbled upon this place, it is definitely not the most glamorous restaurant. The food was fresh and flavorful, I can't stop raving about it.

Flavor was amazing, seasoned perfectly. Large quantity and not pricey. Definitely worth trying!
