This restaurant is unassuming but sits right under a residential complex so we pass by it everyday. However we always notice the $3 off sign for Birria items on Wednesdays. We ordered take-out.If you order at the machine, it won't apply the discount. You have to order with the cashier. The birria itself was not bad! We weren't expecting much. The tacos were crispy and had a lot of meat. The ramen was filling. The egg was slightly overcooked to my liking but that wasn't a big issue.I think the birria consome was a little sweet and too tomato-y, and needed a hint of more acidity. This probably could've been fixed with a lot more lime as they didn't give us any for the ramen, and barely any for the tacos. So be sure to ask for more limes!!Me and my fiance enjoyed the tacos more since it came with more white onions which added to balance the flavor of the consome being too sweet. All in all this isn't bad for how close it is to us!

El Pueblto has the making of really good but falls down on some key areasThe food: a miss. While the restaurant offers a variety of Mexican dishes, tacos seems to be the specialty, offering asada, carnitas. Chicken, birria, fish, tongue and my favorite pastor. Since the menu suggests traditional Mexican food I was expecting bold flavors and some heat. I tried carnitas, chicken and pastor tacos with corn tortillas. The carnitas was very simple shredded pork with onion with what seemed like no seasoning. Chicken was similar- some seasoning here but very bland. The pastor was a little more flavorful but I was really missing bright flavors and the char you get on good traditional pastor tacos. The tacos were accompanied by pickled onion, jalapeño and onion on the plate. Optionally were verde and a red sauce which I used to add some flavor and heat. Overall I was disappointed with the blandness of each of the tacos. We also tried guacamole and chips. The guacamole was very good and actually had some spice in it along with onion, tomato and cilantro. Recommend. Ambiance was nice and the restaurant was clean. It has seating for ~12 parties inside with some outdoor seating. When we entered the staff were playing music videos on the TV at a loud volume. Thankfully it was changed and turned down a little after we sat down. Staff were somewhat friendly but overall service was mediocre. Tip: this restaurant offers taco specials on Tuesdays. I would consider other options before coming back. Hope this review helps you in your selection. Happy eating!

Order to go via Uber Eats. Food was still warm upon arrival. Duo fajita was super tasty and came with a side of rice and beans as well as a guacamole/pico/lettuce side. I also got the queso and chips (queso was kind of cheese wiz like in flavor but when I added diced onion/tomato & warmed it up it was really good) I would definitely recommend as the flavors were good and they give you a solid amount of food for the price

First time eating here, and would definitely return.Restaurant was clean, and smelled delicious, and staff were pleasant. You can either order your food at the counter or use the screens to order independently.I ordered the taco platter (1 shrimp and 2 fish, all on corn tortillas). Portions were filling, and the food was flavorful. I really enjoyed that side of raddish, it was sort of pickled and spicy.I did take out, and it was a prepared timely, so I didn't have to use my whole lunch break!

Seat yourself and order from the counter. Little atmosphere and Plastic utensils provided gives the feel of a take out place rather than eat in. The food was good, a nice portion and reasonably priced. Conveniently located next to the hospital within walking distance. A nice option for some Mexican food, recommended!

Rude and annoyed server, came in to an empty restaurant while waiting for doctor at Hopkins across street. Chicken enchilada took 20 min, was made w flour tortilla, tasted like plastic and crunchy. Gut instinct was this will make me sick, just go to the cafeteria or walk to Taco Bell if you're craving Mexican that bad.
