One stop shop for everything you need! fantastic section of beer and wine(with killer sales), excellent scotch and whiskeys as well. Plus they're a notary, tobacco vendor, key cutter, headshop, and have a section of guitar strings and accessories for last minute gig solutions. The true Renaissance liquor store- if Michelangelo lived in Charles village he'd shop here!!!

Just a tad pricey, but they make up for it. For a smaller store, they have an okay selection of beer and liquor. I cant really comment on the wine selection since I rarely ever drink it.I'd give them 3 stars, but they get bumped up due to their staff. Typically it's the same 3-4 guys working, and they're all as friendly as can be. What's best though is they not only let me bring my dog in, but they spoil her rotten with treats. It's got so bad that when taking her for a walk around the neighborhood, she sees the store and starts getting as hyper as a puppy can be.

Eddies is a great part of this neighborhood. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I've come in several times with no clue what I wanted, except to try something new. I've never been disappointed in the suggestions. I love that is stays open late. I've had more than one night where it's after 10pm and a light bulb goes off in my head that I want some wine and I'm always so happy that Eddie's is around. I also love that they have incense and soaps...and they are super dog friendly, even my overly excited cocker spaniel lol.

The Charles Village Snappe was my neighborhood place to purchase my alcohol until the building was sold and the new owners priced them out (yet it remains vacant). Since then I've been coming to Eddie's liquor more. I must say they have a decent selection for a small space and the prices aren't too bad. On the wine side they definitely have more options than you would expect. On the beer side I would love for the to carry more meadworks and the dogfish namaste beer. It they got a set bourbon that would be a nice addition too.

I happened to stumble upon this place when I was picking up some quick cantonese fried rice. It's in a very unassuming location, but after walking inside, I found a reasonable selection of wines and spirits. I picked up a few bottles of wine- one of which was recommended because of it's sweet, yet dry pineapple after taste. I appreciated the short conversation with the tender and his personal touch on my purchase!I can't wait to open these new bottles of wine!

If you just keep forgetting to restock your booze while you pour it down your throat, Eddie's will be there to refill your boozy coffers in the wee hours of the night. It's open fairly late, has a decently priced selection of beers and spirits, and I can't think of a third thing. Point is, Eddie's will keep ya drunk and that's A-OK in my book.

Just another Thursday night... Tryna find some whiskey.Thankfully, Eddie's is open later than most other liquor stores - but I wouldn't consider it much more than a back-up.The selection isn't so great and I really wish there was a better wine selection. But it's a small store so I can understand the limited choices. But when a girl needs a drink, a girl needs a drink.

This place is the least friendly liquor store i've ever been to. I'm not sure who owns the place, but they should ask staff to stop rushing customers, making them uncomfortable, and overall correct their staff on their rude demeanor. I'm not sure if it is because of staff lack of respect for college students or their lack of interest in their job choice, but neither is an excuse as paying customers deserve at least decent service.

About a month ago, a good friend of mine told me that she was sexually harassed by men that worked at Eddie's liquors. They were unfriendly to her when she was inside the store because it was about to close, so she went to cvp instead. As she was getting on her bike to go home, the same 2 men stood in the doorway making pssss psss pussy cat sounds and kissy noises at her and laughing at her until she rode away. A few weeks later, I was standing on the sidewalk by Eddie's liquors and a man that worked there made nasty kissy noises at me from the doorway. I went inside to buy the wine I went there for and asked the man who had been kissing at me if he treats all his customers that way, and he completely denied having done anything. As I was leaving, another man that worked at eddies (who didn't say anything the whole time but was smiling weirdly and seemed drunk) came and stood in the doorway, leering at me as I walked away. These men work as a team to sexually harass women that come into or even just walk by their store. I won't be going back.

It doesn't have a huge selection but considering it's a small place, the pricing is reasonable (I've always been leery of smaller places because of higher prices) and it has the essentials. One of the few that carry the steigls grapefruit beer (yeah!). The people at the counter can sometimes be silly but mean no harm. When I've asked for recommendations though, the staff was knowledgeable and helpful.
