Place went hard as hell can't even lie. Shout out Eddie's, Mumbo sauce was fresh and tasty. This jaunt low key got crazy chicken too. Eddie's man !! Shoutout Eddie's !!

Stopped here on the way back home from something and the food was decent. The wings and fries were solid and were good with the mumbo sauce. Beware that the area around it was a little bit sketch, with some scary individuals inside and outside of the establishment. It also smelled pretty bad and reeked of pot. Probably best getting this delivered instead.

Solid food for the price. The management was somewhat rude and was giving me dirty looks. I'm a big fan of Mumbo sauce so this place definitely does it right. I even got an "HTTR" from a young man on the street for wearing my Redskins jersey (Alfred Morris)

This was a throwback from the past on my taste buds.. The wings and one the rare places who still makes the "original mumbo sauce" was on point. I grew in the city with only certain spots you swing past and scoop that.infamous order "wings and mumbo sauce with Salt n Pepper and ketchup on your fries. They even got me in and out quickly too. Don't forget when you in the hood you have to keep your head on swivel..

I just ate here today. I'm not sure why the location says it's closed. Delicious food and great customer service!

Was not want I expected. Two thumbs down . Never again anything tasted like it was supposed to The steak and cheese was bland, and the ice tea lemonade was disgusting.

"Salpepper Ketchup"I can honestly say that I am a fan of this carryout. When I'm eating from carryouts, there are certain "givens" of restaurant that I don't expect, such as cleanliness, customer service, efficiency, etc. Therefore, I have a personal rule that I only purchase food that I can recognize, such as wings, shrimp, french fries, etc. Every now and then, I will get General Tso's, but I've gotta really be craving it and feeling like it's my day.That said, the wings and mumbo sauce here are very good. I didn't fully appreciate them until I went to another carryout and was totally underwhelmed. I guess the grass is not always greener on the other side.The delivery quickness varies, so it's best to order over the phone and pick it up.

This restaurant used to be a staple in the community however, its nothing great anymore. They don't care about the community, and they treat their customers like an inconvenience. The service that I received by the young Asian female cashier was horrible. She just stares at you when you enter- not a greeting but a stare. Upon ordering, the service just got worse from there. There are also signs that say "these prices may not reflect the current prices, feel free to ask for updated pricing". How hard is it to change the board? They treat you like they are doing you a favor by even opening. The wings were ok but nothing to waste time talking about. Do better or close up.

I can't believe Eddie's is down the drain like this smfh. Over priced & dirty affff I called ahead for pick up and was pisssssed at the lack of customer service and lack of cleanliness.

Hell Yeah, I remember Now, oh Hell Yeah, whenever I go to South DC I try and make it here first before I go to destination!
