Ordered several times from Eastern Carryout and it's a solid Chinese takeout spot.Favs so far: Singapore rice noodles, their soups, dumplings, and grilled chicken with fried plantains (platanos).The dumplings are made the "old school style" with the thick dough that I like, not the frozen store bought dumplings.Definitely the fried plantains (platanos) they have as a side makes them a standout. The grilled chicken is seasoned delectably. Their bubble tea is pretty decent, not high end bubble tea, but it's solid bubble tea.Probably will pick up lunch today from Eastern because writing this review is making me crave their food!

I'm so glad that Eastern is 8 minutes from my house in Takoma Park. It's solid Chinese American food, always good quality meats and vegetables, always well seasoned. I'm very sorry to see some people complaining about service. When I'm here, staff are friendly and smiling. They do move quickly so that can seem abrupt. When I showed up for Carryout and they couldn't provide one dish I ordered, they insisted on substituting something of greater value. I have seen some very rude customers here I hope they're not bringing the rating down.

Moved to the area of Takoma Park from Wisconsin and I love this place. They never disappoint! The chicken wings are always hot and fresh and the fries are always hot and fresh as well. I also love the spicy Chile they have in the little cups, but you have to ask for it. I love to order the shrimp with broccoli. It's delicious. This place is always on point, and have way better Chinese food than in Wisconsin.

latina little girl on the phone is very disrespectfull they couln't find the location because it was an office called back and i told them i understood if they made mistake with apartments and she was hostile for no reason calling me "shorty" never seen her there she has to be new but didn't like the service so just be aware hopefully she stays in school to learn manners.
