Perfect situation for me! I love a cozy restaurant that feels like a hidden gem ( I guess because I just learned about it lol) . Food was amazing, fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our bartender was very cool and attentive, I wish I remembered his name but he's the guy with the cool hair (cut) . I ordered the Sardine, Anchovies, Dixon point oysters and rainbow trout .... yes I ate it all! How could I not! It was amazing

How did I live right around the corner from this place and not go sooner?!If you want accessible no fru frus seafood. Dylan's is what you need. It's accessible, it's cozy, it's approachable. And you get amazing seafood at the same time!!Sitting at the bar feels like your at your local bar. But you have access to the best oysters in baltimore. The staff are super knowledgeable about each oyster, and the specials are truly special!

I've been to Dylan's twice now and I've got to say, I'm officially a fan. The first time was a quick stop in after a walk in Wyman Park. We got half a dozen oysters, the potato skins, and the cava during happy hour. The second time, I came in for a quick dinner and got another half dozen oysters, a caesar salad, and the potato skins. The potato skins are absolutely delicious and come with a sour cream and horseradish sauce. Very reminiscent of the Prime Rib's - iykyk. The caesar salad was generously dressed and they accommodated my request for no croutons. The oysters were delicious both times but I especially enjoyed my selection on the second time. Nice and small, light brine, with a little bit of sweetness. You can even watch them shuck them right there in front of you at their beautiful wrap around bar. The prices are fairly reasonable too ranging from $15-$25 for half a dozen depending on the specific selection. This last time the bartender was nice enough to give me a sample of their signature dirty martini. He said it had been on the menu since they started as a pop up and it's so popular it's never left. I can see why - it's made with celery bitters which was really delicious and well balanced. I'd definitely return for more oysters and get that martini next time.

Dylan's is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in the city. The BEST seafood and oysters bar none. I've been there a number of times and some of their standout options are the soft shell crab sandwich and their burger. Absolutely awesome! I love their oysters and anything on the special menu is usually very solid. The drinks are great as well, the servers are always so kind and I love to sit at the bar if it's particularly busy! The space is smaller but has a casual feel with a slightly upscale vibe to it.

If Cheers was a restaurant, this would be it. The neighborhood vibes, foodie menu (that changes occasionally), and amazing staff and service will want you coming back again and again. Make sure to make reservations as the inside is very quaint with just a few tables and bar seats. Check out the decor for some fun conversation starters. Can't get enough of this place! Hands down one of the best places in the avenue.

Yes! I've been twice. Tried the same dishes twice because after my first visit I had to come back and try the exact same thing. I'll go back and try others. But on both visits I tried:The Coddie (cod fish cake with saltine and mustard sauce). Tasty but salty. I thought on my first visit it was too salty so I wanted to try it again. Second visit, too salty.Roasted oysters - 10 stars Kale salad - 10 stars. That maple miso dressing is something special Whole Sea Bream - 10 stars (similar to snapper I think). Love the ginger carrot puree. I started making some at home to accompany my dishes after my second visit. It's so good! Ham hock collard greens - 10 stars, too good.Cocktails: can't remember the name but it was bourbon based. 10 stars This is now one of my favorite places. Service is okay. 4 stars over all because of the noise level. I've been on a random Tuesday and a Saturday. Just as loud.

The oysters were very good but the meal itself was not memorable but not bad. My disappointment was the non professional service. Our waitress was wearing cat ears and her attire didn't not present itself as a professional. The other waitress (a man) looked even less professional. I was very excited to try Dylan's but now have no plans to return

Awesome food and service! Oysters never disappoint here. We tried the fish this time and yes, that was cooked to perfection too! Mashed sweet potatoes had just the right amount of seasoning and smooth texture. Everything was superb!
