NOTHING beats a GOOD diner. IYKYK! #MDgurlNYrkrI lived in Baltimore County for almost 20 years so this Double T Diner location will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. That's why, since all of my children were in town this weekend (Saturday, 10/5/24), it made perfect sense to stop through just for old-times sake. The fond memories I have here with my children are indescribable ... I feel hot tears just typing this darn review. Thankfully, not much has changed. The RIDICULOUSLY HUGE menu with entrees and offerings nobody in a single lifetime will ever be able to eat their way through, is still here. My fav creamy garlic seafood pasta dish is gone but the show stopping display case in the lobby with the HUGE desserts was still there. The old school waitresses that always call you Hon and always seem to know when your coffee cup is empty are gone, but the coffee is still the bomb.This might be the only restaurant where I don't mind the carpet on the floor because I (selfishly) don't want anything else to change here.Anyways, don't come for decor ... unless you're a sappy old nostalgic fool, like me. LOL.The portions are STILL HUGE so come for the food and tell them you saw it in Yelp!

Stopped in today for a quick bite and it was an average meal which could have used a little more flavor. I think of everything I ate, my favorite may have been the grits. Our server, Kelly was friendly but it did take her quite a while to return. I'll chalk it up to it being busy today. The ambiance was a typical diner atmosphere, hustle and bustle.

Good old reliable diner stop. They have classic diner menu around the clock and they make everything decent. Jack of all appetites spot for whatever youre craving. The restaurant is family regular however, this is my first time reviewing. We came here for breakfast to celebrate a birthday but, I have been to this restaurant all different times of day for breakfast, lunch and late night food as well. The service is always on point. The servers really work hard to accommodate large parties. Our server Moe has being a server down pack. He remembered our entire large party order without writing a thing down and getting everyone's order correct. They have an extensive menu with lots to choose from to make the entire large party happy. The floors needed some attention as they were napkins and very noticeable amounts of food particles on the floor. What I love most about this restaurant is they allowed by daughters Girl Scouts to set up in the lobby to sell cookies. I love a restaurant that supports the community. We will definitely return.

Stopped by Double T on the way to work.Typical diner featuring a huge menu with so many options to choose from. My companion and I got a breakfast combo with Turkey sausage and the appetizer sampler (came with wings, tenders, mozzarella sticks, and fries. Food was what you would expect from a diner, extremely average but service was timely as I was in a bit of a rush. The meal was fairly expensive for the quality of the food, but not surprising in todays economy. Overall, I wouldn't return but it was definitely a good spot for something quick or some breakfast and coffee. Note: They had a full bar which was impressive for a diner!

Went on a quiet Saturday evening for dinner. The diner matches several other double T diners in the area as far as decor and ambiance. The menu does not. They do not have French onion or matzoh ball soups like the others I've been to. They do have a huge breakfast menu and pastry counter. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was cooked in line with our orders. The prices seem to be a tad higher here. What really tweaked my nose was a 18% "service charge" on the bill. What is this??? Nobody management like seemed to be around, so I chose to not make a scene, but, I won't be returning because of this. Their $10 charge cost them any return business. This not a way to keep customers.
