The lasagna is delicious! I always have enough for 2 meals and it's meaty. The tomato sauce is deep and flavorful which tells me she let that sauce simmer and reduce, giving it a more rich taste. Mama, the chef, has me coming back often. I love her homemade donuts! I bring a new friend each time because I want this little niche to do well. Her sons are polite and serve a nice meal. The prices seemed a little high for such a tiny place but the portions are very large and the spices just right. Worth every penny and then some. Only problem I have ever had is getting in there as the restaurant is small and well liked. This is the place my parents would have loved, a family run restaurant that survives the hard times to make great food for people!

Hands down best NY style pizza in that area. Hot. End crust of the slice was thick and perfectly cooked. Staff is slow nice . Very reasonable prices .

Came for a quick birthday lunch and it was just perfect. It's small so if you plan on coming with a larger group this might not be the best option. Might be an inconvenience for some but I personally enjoyed how intimate my experience was here. You can see the cooks cooking your food from pretty much anywhere in the restaurant when seated. They only had a handful of employees but the service was impeccable. They had daily specials but even with them being specials the prices still seemed pretty low so I was quite surprised by just how good the quality of the food actually was. After our meal we were given some complimentary donuts.... And stuff like that I find very special. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Hagerstown. A must try if you're in the area!

The food was decent. It wasn't exceptional. The chicken in the carbonara was boiled and it showed. The seasoning was lacking in both main dishes. The calamari had been cooked a bit too long although the flavor was good. The donuts were similar to beignets. They were good. Service was pretty good. They were busy; it's a small place with only a few wait staff. I'd give them another try and order from the European dishes next time. The Italian fare was simply ok.

I was so pleasantly surprised by Dolce! I'm rarely in Hagerstown but the Italian/Eastern European combo seemed intriguing, so we decided to give it a try.The restaurant isn't super elegant, but the food and service are top notch. Everything is homemade fresh, from the dinner rolls they serve you first to the desserts (they give Romanian donuts on the house at the end!) Dolce has traditional Italian pastas and pizzas, as well as a section labeled European Dishes that has multiple Romanian specialties. We tried the chicken cacciatore and Julia's stuffed cabbage leaves for our entrees. I recommend the cabbage leaves - they were yummy and unlike anything I've tried before. The free donuts at the end was the perfect way to end our meal. They were kind of like beignets - mini fried doughnuts with powdered sugar. Service throughout was excellent, and the owner Julia was very friendly as well.

Lovely little restaurant. Must try for the Hagerstown area!! It's a small hole in the wall family owned restaurant. The family is from Romania. The pizza is one of my favorite things here, as well as the Lasagna. When you dine in they always give a homemade roll with butter as an appetizer and a donut kind of funnel cake with powdered sugar as a dessert. It's a smaller space but kind of cozy inside. Service is always pretty quick no matter how busy it is and they are very friendly and always up for conversation. Overall, it's one of my favorite places to go in Hagerstown!

Good authentic cuisine as advertised. The meatball soup was delicious. The fried mushrooms were perfect and the lunch lasagna was tasty. The even had free homemade buns and fried bread dough with powdered sugar was a nice treat. The staff were very friendly too. In my opinion they need a bigger place.
