What a beautiful place of worship and fellowship! Here is the largest mosque in the US. Diyanet is a complete campus, includes a Turkish bath, cultural center, library, gift shop, restaurant and shop in addition to the masjid. The restaurant is open to the public as well as the campus, for tours. There is plenty of ample parking and people are very welcoming. If you are considering visiting, be advised when in the courtyard to enter the mosque, shoes need to be removed and hair covered if a female. There are cubbies for shoes and if you don't have a shawl or scarf you can purchase one in the gift shop. The restaurant is open to the public with Turkish cuisine. You'd be hard pressed to find authentic food like this elsewhere in the area. I walked away with a belly full, tears of gratitude, wonderful fragrance and a new friends. Look forward to returning.

The food was alright. The food wasn't amazing but it also wasn't the worst. For me I was disappointed in the small portions for the price. Most of the menu options were in the $20s. We got the Kebab with chicken and beef. We also ordered the Doner Sandwich. The kebab platter was better than the sandwich. The Sammie had no sauce or extra flavor to it. The bread and meat were good, it was just missing something. We also got their tea and dessert which was the highlight for me!! I bought two of the deserts and tea. They include tax which is 20%There's a big garage under ground Beautiful grounds and friendly people Ambiance is very relaxed and not too strict

This feels like an underrated place for a meal. Located on the grounds of the Diyanet Center or the Turkish Mosque, the cafe is really good! The Turkish breakfast comes with menemen or Turkish scrambled eggs and assortment of jams, olives, salad, and cheeses. It also comes with bread and a pot of Turkish tea!The cafe is family friendly and nice! You order at the front and servers will bring the food out to you. If you haven't checked this out, it is a must try for brunch!!

This is a Turkish restaurant cafe inside the Diyanet Center of America complex. You have to drive into the underground parking lot (which you feel like you shouldn't but that's the right way to go!) and then follow signs for DCA Cafe. I was worried that we were intruding, but it seemed like it was well attended by people in the area of all backgrounds. The food is so good! We ordered the lamb and chicken kebabs and they were both chargrilled to perfection and incredibly juicy. I honestly don't like white chicken meat, but these kebabs were so good! One tip though, the kebabs are served with one grilled pepper, and I thought it would be mild but one of the peppers was SO spicy. I am an avid spicy eater (I'm Korean), and one of the peppers messed me up but in a good way! We also got the pide with beef & cheese and gozleme with beef & cheese. I couldn't eat those but my husband and friend said they were amazing.

The service was good. Food was just okay. Not a good place for vegetarians. Ambiance was lovely with Turkish architecture and a nice mosque view.

Such a good time. I was invited by a friend and didn't know what to expect. So many firsts happened for me. First time in an actual mosque, which by the way makes you forget your in Maryland let alone the United States. The architecture, the colors. The mosque has so many features and very welcoming vibe. DCA cafe, was great. We went for breakfast. I had never had any of the dishes. We went with the breakfast board. It was so so much food. Way more than the two of us could have imagined. I. Was very pleased with the entire experience.

Single-handedly my favorite Turkish food in the entire DMV is definitely here. It is consistently delicious, the food is always hot and fresh, and it tastes like someone's grandmother put love and care and made each dish from scratch. I've been to Turkey, and am an avid connoisseur of Turkish food, and this café always hits the spot. What would I recommend on the menu? Honestly, everything. Each of my family members have a different preference based off of their own palate and so I've tried pretty much everything on the menu and there was nothing that I didn't enjoy.

So many delicious Turkish options. The coffee was outstanding as was the tea but you cannot go wrong with any of the kebaps and meat options.
