Charlene is THE BEST! The food is always amazing. We've never had anything that isn't delicious and the service is always top notch!

You need to change your hours. We drove over an hour to eat here at the recommendation of friends to find hours have changed. Close at 1 sat and sun!

We were looking for a good breakfast and some home-style cooking to start our trip home. We found it at the Dixie Diner! Everything was delicious. Fresh ingredients, courteous service, and homey atmosphere.

Cute little "coffee shop." A friend and I stopped in for the first time for breakfast. Pancakes were excellent. Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Wait staff was very pleasant and service was great. Constantly filling coffee without looking for a waitress is always a plus.Bacon was disappointing. It was cold and greasy and obviously made hours earlier. It did have a nice taste and I'm sure if made fresh it would have been great.

Friendly atmosphere, good food, homemade items, comfort food, and delicious desserts. I'm a regular there!

A real diner experience in a quaint small town setting. We chose it because the menu was varied with something for everyone...even the 2 children in our party. Wait staff was very pleasant and welcoming to us out of towners. Everyone loved their dinners. We enjoyed dinner and recommend that anyone in the area who is seeking a home style meal should stop in!

Amazing I love the milkshakes they are so thick and the place is really clean. The service is awesome they are so nice and give you so much time.

We've eaten at the Dixie Eatery 4 or 5 times for lunch at this point and have enjoyed each visit. They get busy during lunchtime, but we've never had to wait for a table. Nothing fancy here, but the 8 or so lunch specials we've eaten over our visits have been really good. This last week, I had a surprisingly good reuben sandwich and the wife was tickled that she was able to order liver and onions. Guess we'll have to go back!

This is a great small dinner in a quaint small town. It's located about 6 or 7 miles north of Interstate 70 in Smithsburg. There are generous portions of great comfort food at very reasonable prices.Be prepared for great service from a friendly staff. I had the turkey sub and sweet potato fries and I was impressed with how much food I was presented with.Make sure to save room for freshly-baked, local pies (especially the cherry).Overall, a great place to have a quick meal
