Delta Family Restaurant

This is old school American family restaurant. With the little seating in the front and dining area in the back, with a bakery casing in the front. It was a nice clean little spot, has that family feeling to it. For a Sunday, it was not very crowded. I tried the chili which was good! Not spicy but full of flavor. I was told that the chicken fried steak was a must. I haven't had one in a few years and this place takes the cake for it. It was so tasty, and the gravy on top was the perfect combo with it. The mashed potatoes were not the best but they paired good with the corn! If you're in the area for a nice meal that is not expensive this is the place.

We go to the DFR quite often because they are close and quite reasonably priced. Depending on when you go, the place can be very busy with a long wait. Some of the servers are friendly and attentive and some are not. There is one that is terrible! Most of the food here is pretty good, but occasionally you get a dud. The biggest issue is that most of the time, it is luke warm at best. Their chicken parm is delicious, but I've never had it be hot. I don't know how this happens, as it usually arrives fairly quickly. That is, unless, you get the slow poke! The place seems clean, so that's a plus.

Very nice family restaurant. We went for breakfast and there was a nice variety of options all very reasonably priced. Nice wait staff and food arrived very quickly. Really enjoyed the experience and will go back to try lunch and dinner.

Today is Sunday and I've never seen this restaurant so crowded for breakfast. Maybe that's why our food wasn't as good today. I came a few months ago on a Sunday and experienced the same issue with quality. My issue maybe a weekend thing. Biscuits in gravy were rocks. Pancakes we're good but eggs weren't cooked to order and Belgian waffle with chocolate chips simply had chips which were sprinkled atop that never melted. Nice server but we never got refills. I'll never go on the weekend.

Old fashioned American restaurant with homemade soups, meat loaf and other traditional entrees, burgers, seafood and pasta. Great prices and friendly service. Nothing fancy just good. Generous portions.

Food was great! We got club sandwich which I loved. also chicken pot pie was really yummy too. Dessert Pies were incredible! wait staff was friendly and helpful

We have been to this restaurant twice and will probably go again if in the area. However, we felt compelled to write and warn people of the seemingly hostile bus girl who cleans and separates the dishes for the dishwashers. She is stationed out in the restaurant and clangs almost every dish with a scowl on her face. She had our nerves on edge the whole meal. The rest of the staff was friendly and effecient. Food was good. Note to patrons: don't stand around talking near the cashier. It's to crowded. There are places were you can gather if you meet friends. Just not right there. : )

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise, great food and great service. We went to Kilgore Falls and when we left we were hungry. We ordered a double cheeseburger and fries, only $7. Homemade burger patties and a great taste. Would definatly go back and recommend this restaurant to others. Dont miss out on this food stop.

Breakfast was very good. Bobbi Jo was are waitress. She was so sweet . We will be going back again soon. I will ask for Bobbi Jo to be are server.
