Great food and awesome service. Bartenders were super friendly and welcoming. Had the blackened salmon Caesar salad and wings. The atmosphere felt like a true local pub.

Came here last minute on a Saturday night in a party of 2. There wasn't a wait which was nice. Our server was very friendly and mostly attentive, aside from one time she forgot to get another drink we asked for. But besides that she was good. I ordered the ribeye without all the fuss, asparagus and a side Cesar salad. The steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The asparagus was well seasoned but slightly undercooked. The other person in my party got a pepperoni pizza and said it was delicious. The reason we came here is because we saw that they have a DJ on Saturday nights, but when we arrived we were surprised that it would even be a possibility as the place is pretty small. I guess I was picturing a restaurant more like the old Della Roses at the avenue. But a DJ did come at 9, to our surprise. However, the place is too small for a dance floor and the DJ wasn't really doing anything differently than what the restaurant was already doing as far as music is concerned. Overall we enjoyed the food and had good service, but I think we had different expectations regarding ambiance.

Unfortunately, we made the mistake of going here for dinner on 6/8/19 for dinner. We arrived around 5:15 pm and were greeted and seated by a nameless server. (She didn't think to tell us her name.) The place had very few diners and several people were seated at the bar.The server brought menus and a list of chef's specials. After asking what she enjoyed from the menu, and about customer favorites, and popular items, I decided on a bacon-wrapped scallop appetizer, the chef's special carne asada and grilled vegetable skewers. My wife asked for the tuna taco chef's special, and was told they were out. She opted for the Chesapeake Summer Salad. I also asked for the password to the guest Wi-Fi advertised on the front entrance door. The scallops arrived with a wilted slice of canned pineapple, arranged with one scallop in the center of a grilled squash ring, and the other three equally spaced around the outside of it. The were lightly grilled, cooked through, but not quite with the caramelization one normally sees on a well-seared scallop. The bacon wrapping the scallop was underdone, with the fat not rendered and no crispiness. The scallops were cooked and the flavor was just OK.When my carne asada and vegetable skewers came out, the plating was attractive, and in anticipation of the goodness to come, I took a few pictures. Sadly, the carne asada and roasted veggie skewers were lackluster. The "carne" was tasteless, unidentifiable, and cold. It was served on a corn taco that was soggy and disintegrated when I tried to fold it over to take a bite. The grilled vegetables were cold, and unseasoned. On the other hand, my wife really liked her Chesapeake Summer Salad. It contained fresh, lump crabmeat, and an interesting item we hadn't eaten - Pepper Drops. I tried a few bites and can see why the waitress stated that this is a popular dish. It was good.I returned my food in favor of a Pub Burger, cooked medium-well, and roasted veggie skewers. The burger was properly cooked and the fresh roasted veggie skewers were fresh and hot. So, the kitchen recovered with the substitution. We completed our meals, tipped our waitress, and decided that with the consistently good experiences we have had at competing restaurants that we frequent in Honeygo Village Center, we are unlikely to return. Too bad, because some items like the paella sound good, but I don't want to chance it. Never did get Wi-Fi access either. That's OK, but don't advertise what you're not going to deliver.

This place has a very warm feeling to it. Staff and everyone is so friendly. Our food was delicious and I fully recommend you visit this pub the next time you dine out. would've included a photo but I was thinking of taking a pic; just eating the great food in front of me. The atmosphere is great. I have to say one tiny negative thing. It was extremely loud inside. My husband and I had to yell over the noise so we could hear each other. People were screaming over each other. If you can handle the noise, the food is great. Maybe next time we'll go during the week.

I wouldn't be so tough on the review if I didn't see the owner sitting at the bar with a patron for a long time; while his staff of two waited on the entire front of the house. The wait staff was doing the best they could. The food took a long time, and it wasn't very hot, and not that good. My chicken Chesapeake was over-cooked and tasteless. I am guessing it sat for a while, even though I asked for the food about 10 minutes before he delivered. I would think the owner would want to step it up now that things are improving in the service industry. I try to support local business, but not ones that can't produce a good experience.

Really great Thai salad and crazy corn. All the food and drinks have exceeded my expectations. The service was really great. It's always nice to come during the Ravens game.

One of the best cream of crab soups I've had. Nachos were excellent and the burger looked really good (although I did not have it myself). Will definitely coming back to try some other dishes. Been a lifelong fan of Della Roses's and wish them nothing but the best with this new location.

Quality of food and drinks have gone down from several years ago. Staff, especially the female bartender has an attitude. Too many other local options to consider rather than feel like a burden at Della Rose's.

It's been before the pandemic since I have been here, but being a Northeast Balto girl at heart I wanted to check out an old fav since the Overlea days. The location has moved off WM Avenue and up to Honeygo. Some tougher competition uo there, and it looks like they have taken the space of a vacant fast food place. That may not be serving them well. The space is smaller than the other locales, but that is not the sore point--the noise level is off the charts. I went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It's basketball season so I fully expected the usual TV play in the background, but just the level of conversations at the hi-tops and the bar were pretty deafening, to the extent that I just wanted to leave. A quick eat and go was not to be--it took 45 minutes for the app (1/2 lb of steamed shrimp) to come out. 10 minutes later we got our small pizza and cup of crab soup. That was all we ordered--which BTW was pretty good. The servers were working like crazy, but somebody better figure something out. Our server was tending bar, doing set-ups/bussing, bringing food and closing tabs. By the way of it--I'm guessing she might have had to cook the food too. Obviously either defining who does what better, or maybe the owner just leaves the bar stool (as someone else pointed out) would help to hustle things when it is busy. I'm gonna be happy just remembering the way this place used to be, but can't currently recommend.

The service was not great. Our food order was somehow "deleted" by the kitchen so we waited over an hour for lunch. I ordered the French Connection. The sandwich was ok , the au jus was way too sweet and they were pretty stingy with it. The fries were sub par. We also ordered the Italian cold cut. Nothing special there . It wasn't great. No apologies given for the late food. I can say I will not go back.
