Deli-ish

Great sandwich. Great fires. Great customer service. Salad was meh. I suggest getting what a deli is known for. It's sandwiches. My coworker and I went to this deli which she had mentioned was recently reopened with this new branding. Unsure if it was from new ownership or just a name change. Next time I go, I'll find out more. Atmosphere:This is more modern than your normal deli. It reminded me more of a clothing store with the dark wood floors and clean lines with the club music playing in the background. The music was at a good level so you could hear each other talk. Service:Fast and friendly. I mentioned it being our first time and being a Yelp elite unabashedly. Hey, it scored us some free fries! Kudos to Deli-ish cashier!Food:My turkey club was really good. I liked the freshness of everything. Plus call me crazy, but I like turkey that doesn't have that real turkey flavor. Haha. I know I know. This was perfect but it could have used a touch more mayo. The fries were great. They had a bit of seasoning on them which is what I like. Don't be afraid to order fries for the kids. They were not spicy. Just seasoned. Salad with grilled chicken per my coworker was just average. Nothing to write home about. The chicken soup wasn't that great either. Like I said earlier, stick to the sandwiches maybe. If thinking grilled chicken salad, maybe look elsewhere. If getting a sandwich, I say go here.

Was out running errands and saw the flapping arms signify grand opening I was hungry so I decided to stop. Good location as there are fede businesses close by and this area needed a new lunch spot.Pros: it's Saturday so not really sure if the parking would be this easy any other day. Seating in here looks plentiful but can see it being busy during the week. It's dark inside but I like that(maybe I'm a vampire...lol) bathroom was clean, music was reasonable you're still able to have a conversation. Waitress was lovely. I lucked up and received a gift certificate for my next visit.Cons: No products for the non-pork eaters yet for breakfast! The manager stated she's going to order some as this area asks for that alot(lol) Have patience as the cook was a little slow but it's also early and probably wasn't expecting this many people. Food: I chose the Classic New Yorker - the sandwich was packed with meat. The corned beef was lean, not salty, the pastrami was sliced thin and great. It had just enough Cole slaw to enjoy the sandwich without overpowering it. I was looking for it to be sloppy with the Russian dressing (was really hoping it was)but they held back! Nothing like a good sloppy corned beef sandwich.Overall, it was a nice sandwich and I'm glad I don't have to travel all the way downtown for one. There is always room for improvement so I will do an update once I have tried the actual breakfast

I left a review on google which was my honest opinion and the owner replied in a bit of a sarcastic manner instead of apologizing for my experience and trying to make it right the response was full of lies and excuses. One lie was that they close at 7pm well if that's the case the owner needs to clarify things with their staff I personally ask the lady behind the counter what time do the really close because I came the day before at 620pm and they were closed her response was since we no longer offer breakfast our hours are 10am until 6. I Understand the cost of food is high I also run a cafe in the area and the price of food shouldn't affect the quality and in case your wondering I have receipts of how much I was charged since the owner wanted to break down the prices. Do better next time I will insert the charge on my bank statement also my original review and the owners response.

Pleasantly surprised! Good quality deli meats, desserts on offer as well as a nice selection of kettle chips. The family ordered a few different sandwiches to go, specifically tuna, chicken salad, turkey club - and everyone agreed that their food was delish. (I had to. I'm sorry.)

I was trying to find a place to provide 40 box lunches for a funeral repast. My wife just lost her mother. I called to order one box lunch the week before the funeral just to see the quality of the food. Worst experience of my life! The owner didn't want to make me a test lunch box but made it anyway.($12.00) I picked it up and the box was missing coleslaw and cookie. When I discovered it was missing the items. I went back to the business for the items and the owner told me to bring back the box and he would refund my money. I said I guess you don't want my business.He said yes. Then I blessed him. Don't go to this store! The owner is rude and not friendly. I'm just trying to bury my mother-n-law and feed those that arrive. I thought a neighborhood business would be more caring. He just threw away $466.00.

This place is great. Has amazing new modern look and great food. My favorite is the Curley Friar. Never thought I'd like coke slaw on a sandwich til I tried this, delicious!

Great sandwiches! Actually surprised by the quality of the cold cuts and sub rolls. The chicken salad was better than expected and the roll wasn't soggy and gross when I came back to finish it hours later.

Everytime you go they will be closed ... never been able to try the food but they sandwiches do sound delish

New location and Sandwich had tons of meat , cookie was delicious. I went for breakfast and came back for lunch . Nice people will definitely go back

No one behind counter but the cook, placed order for 2 cold/uncooked sandwiches, it took 30 minutes to get chix salad and a turkey club and we were 1st in line. We paid $28 for 2 sandwiches including $5.89 for a sliver of cake. While waiting, no one came behind counter to take orders or man cash register. 2 people came in after me having placed order online, no one came to help them for 20 minutes and their orders weren't started. There was table of 4 in restaurant, I saw cook put their French fries on counter sit getting cold for 10 minutes, since no one else behind counter the cook had to serve as well, she seemed to think she had 1 order of fries more than she needed and put it behind counter, when customer came to ask for order she gave him basket of cold fries sitting behind counter for 15 minutes. Food is average. I live walking distance but I'll NEVER come back. How does cashier/order taker come take order then disappear into back and not come back for 30 minutes while 4 customers wait in line.
