Solid Peruvian chicken spot. Their yellow sauce is some of the best I've had. Get the spinach as a side.

We were passing through and saw the sign in the parking lot. We like Peruvian food and thought we would try it. I had the ceviche and my husband had the Pollo Saltado served on papas fritas with a scoop of rice. We also enjoyed an Inca cola. The green sauce is delicious on the chicken with just enough spice. The ceviche was delicious with lots of red onion served on lettuce the portions were very big. If you live in this area this is a must stop.

Let me tell y'all about my favorite lunch spot. I work around the corner, and everyone gets tired of the mundane fast food. Think fresher, more flavorful Chipotle and for about the same price. I normally get the chicken bowl and prefer it to the shrimp bowl I had today (only because you get 5 shrimp, and I'm greedy). The service is so nice. They are polite and will let you sample things if it's your first time. I always get the bowl but I've heard great things about the half chicken, carne asada, and yucca. My bowl always has the rice, black beans, pico, mozz, and green spicy sauce. The green beans are a must! So good. Honestly best green beans I've ever had. If you're in Greenbelt, you have to try it.

Now I know why people take a sample of their food in the car. That's so that if it doesn't taste like anything they can go back inside and voice their concern. Well, trying to be dignified, I got all the way home and was saddened that this food had little to no taste. No smokiness from the chicken being roasted, barely any cilantro essence to the rice and my plantains only were salvageable after I picked through the charred ones.Something told me to keep going but I opted to give this place a try. Well, they blew it and won't patronize again.Located in the Greenbelt Plaza they offer the standard fare other "Peruvian" style chicken eateries have but they miss the mark.Plenty of seating if you choose to stay, nice staff working there. Parking is dynamic in this busy location so don't have your heart set on parking near the door.

The smells coming from this place are so enticing! Sadly that's where the enchantment begins and ends! I ordered salmon with Yuca and pinto beans. The salmon had a rubbery texture and the yuca was extremely dry! I dunno if I caught them on an off night or not but my meal as a whole was underwhelming at best.

**update* visited again on 10/14/17 and ordered 1/4 white chicken with two sides (green beans and potatoes.) Everything tasted better than my first visit. The sauce, chicken and sides were good. The green beans were undercooked for my liking but weren't bad. The potatoes and chicken were delicious. I asked for extra sauce and they didn't charge like most places. ***Greenbelt has been in need of a Peruvian chicken joint since Pollo Rico closed a few years ago. I want to give this place a rating of 3.5....I ordered 1/4 of a chicken with 2 sides. The chicken was alright. It was somewhat dry and tasted like it was older chicken that was reheated. Green bean sides didn't have any salt... very plain. Had I known that it was going to taste like rubber I would have ordered something else as a side. The mixed veggies were better. The sauces were good. The medium sauce tasted too mustard-y but the spicy one was better. All in all not amazing but the food was decent... I will return for another taste. They also have ceviche which I will return for. The people behind the counters were nice.

I have to say I enjoyed the flavor and taste today.I've tried several Peruvian Chicken joints all the way from Langley Park, Beltsville, Greenbelt(295) and Laurel areas.(even Sardi's).I thought the flavor and saltiness was just good for my taste.Enjoyed this with plain rice.A destination place for me after walking around Beltway Plaza Mall on Greenbelt Rd.Everyone have different taste...it's worth a try.

I was let down for the first time in this place after eating from here 3-4 times. The rice was under cooked and that's an understatement. But into the rice and thought I was eating pieces of bon

I love the food here, but when placing an order online they didn't even make the food. They were arguing with my husband that he had to pay again even though we had already paid and even gave a 20% tip. We showed them the email receipt and everything. What is even the point of having an online ordering system if they do not fulfill the orders and don't believe the customer when they said (and proved) they already paid. Eventually they figured it out but what an ordeal this experience was.
